Profit takers and short- termers continue to sell out of Zam not that I'm that bothered about daily/monthly gyrations in the sp. You gotta do...what you gotta do! Next year and if you can wait...the following year when Zampalm comes on stream selling into a rising oil price $668 currently, should be considerably better with the retailing operation leading the way and revs/profits (ex FX gains) could be nudging $33-5m. The board have every insentive to get the sp up to trigger option expiries (40-60) as rev said so i'm inclined to hold as my avc is 14g. Best watched for the next 3-6 months to see if investors can push Zam towards 25.

Not that it makes a diff for if you read the AR you wouldn't know Zam were in the palm oil business. I couldn't find a single reference.

Well soon as I said...Friday short termers lock in gains and that's understandable. The sp could be heading back to 16 which would be a buying oppo for lth's. Daily fluctuations in the sp don't really bother me...up or down, after all it's only a snapshot in time which for most of us is an annoyance going down or a rejoicing going up. Sustainable revenues and growing, profits that give a decent return on capital invested and an ethical policy is the name of the game for Zam...not one days trading by shorters & nervous margin players! Have a good w/k end.

Clearly the results have disappointed the market..as ever expecting more (me included). However we have done well to stay inside the spread which for longterm holders is neither here or there. The fundamentals are solid and for sure we have zoomed up on hopes rather than actuals which makes progress from here that more problematical and by that i mean the sp heading into the 30's. Whatever we may think of our current mrkt cap as being hugely undervalued...and i do, i recognise that others do not. Rarely does one get a consensus of opinion that xyz stock is a bargain as investors have differing agendas, horizons, forecast, etc..which invariably limit any sp advance. An ebita of £29m profits v a mrkt cap of £54m looks ludicrous but ask yourself why? Wish i knew the answer but I'm long enough in the tooth to know that i know sfa!!

C 15% down....overdone but whose surprised?

Morning boonboon id hoped for a better top line which would have boosted GP% & operating profits. Relying on FX gains is hardly prudent however we lost out last year so it's swings & roundabout's... our gain this. On reflection I'm a year early in my expectations (I suffer from this) so will be holding for now. We have nearly a years adj profits in cash ($6.5m) compared to the $25m loss last....so that's good. The outlook for Zam is promising next year might be a real belter as long as the rev's GO UP!

Morning comeonvog....no idea re divs. Never ever had one and don't want to pay tax on a handout that i'll blow down the pub. Mind you if I had a million shares I might be blowing a diff tune! Mind you if i had a million shares i might be more issepd off with the results!

Can't say I'm ecstatic with the results particularly the top line from which everything else flows. Nothing on Zampalm is annoying! Oh well no doubt the market will be less than impressed. Have to say next year looks promising with the co expansion plans in retailing etc...so a hold for now.

Quick look...FX boosts Zam. Rev's, operating profit & GP all lower!

....today let's hope it doesn't apply to the stock market and Zam!
