Oh dear...you confirm my worst fears! The recent BBC series at St Marys Hospital Paddington faced exactly the problems you highlighted. Truly shocking and I suspect the general public are completely unaware how desperate things are until faced with a hospital visit. No use chucking millions into the NHS if there are no nurses to tend the sick. I suspect poor wages and the high cost of housing in London is a factor and has been for many a year. Why has nobody got a grip of this? The sooner we cancel the foreign aid budget or drastically reduce it and plough the money into recruitment and a decent wage for our nursing staff the better. That's probably too simple, so Del how is the problem to be overcome or eased? Your at the front line...... solutions must seem obvious to you. Great pity your hospital does not use P4 as you would be able to confirm the reduced workload for nurses it provides!

Agreed rev...but were having enough problems getting sales in England let alone Wales! This sort of info is under the official secrets act as defined by Sphere HQ. One day we will get a list of those hospitals using P4 but don't hold your breath!

That 20 nos is over the whole of Europe so an increase of only 14. I don't think that's fanciful given Italy & Spain have distributors and many more hospitals are aware of the product. I now it's only 6 months since the launch but hells bells that's only a tad over 3 sign ups a month.

More than half of NHS staff are obese or overweight contributing to a £5bn annual bill related to obesity. This despite repeated efforts to encourage staff to slim down and adopt healthy eating habits by avoiding unhealthy food in hospital canteens!

At the F/Y, 6 hospitals across 3 countries had placed orders! That's hardly a ringing endorsement of P. How long before they start taxing local cos out of existence? Pushing up tax in all forms is easy but ultimately worthless as any student of economics will tell you. All over the airwaves yesterday and lots of coverage in the press this morning. One in 9 posts vacant, 40k shortage (30k in England alone) and 38k registered nurses in the UK are from abroad. Cuts to training and short term planning were the main causes of this debacle not Brexit said Anita Charlesworth (director of research & economics Health Foundation). Tougher language testing was another contributory factor along with stronger immigration rules. The Dept of Healths worst case scenario saw the NHS short by 42000 nurses by 2026. Janet Davies CEO of RCN said "the workforce had reached crisis point that was putting patients at serious risk" I guess better not get sick!

Thanx Del that's what I wanted to hear. That poster with the three logos is fantastic news a valuable endorsement of Proxima. Now for GOSH to order P4 (if they haven't already) and the expanding usage for P is really underway. What I don't want to hear is hospitals are still trialling P. No hospitals have been trialling P since the days of QEH in 2013 if they are not convinced by now, they never will be. I do hope HQ give us some newsflow, this needs to be constantly ticking over to keep us informed that P is being seen and used in all the right places.

Corrupt Governments and there are plenty of examples. Closer to home holders should read of the travails of Acacia Mining who do business in Tanzania and are in dispute with the Govt over under reported sales. The sp has been cratered since the Govt slapped an export ban on the co the shares trading near 500 now languish down in the 260 area tanking near 40 today. All accusations are strongly refuted by Acacia but getting into bed with African Governments is a perilous pastime one I hope Zambeef are wary of.

I'm losing the plot here! Reduction in nurses coming to the UK has been known for somtime. Hence we have often commented on Proxima having the ability to ease front line staff workload. I rather thought you would have something MCH specific. You mentioned the staff being pleased....is that it or was there more on P4? Feedback from those using P4 is essential to gain further traction among hospitals specialising in infant care. Nothing from GOSH that surely should have been no 1 on Sphere's hit list!

Tell a lie...I backed Peter Thompson when he won the Open in '58 after winning the Dunlop Masters at Royal Porthcawl when incidentally I was 10 mins away for caddying for him in rnd 1. That's another story. I landed up lugging Sid Scott's bag and we finished 2 or 3 from memory.
