Doubt there is any take over price in the current value. Idea must have been on several companies lists as possbile target. Tbh I'm surprised there has been no market chatter apropos this. Far as I'm concerned I want Idea to stay independent as I think buying us at 140-160 is way too cheap given the 2-5 year outlook. I'm sure Hornsby has the iis on his side and the longterm holders might back him given his track record. So far little sniffy buying that might indicate a predator having a look.

Two good new contract wins for Ideas software and a small rise in the sp and better vols so all in all I'm reasonably happy that we post historic record closes. As I'm looking at least 2-5 years ahead daily/weekly sp moves don't really concern me as long as the trend line is steady and moving up that'll do for me. So far no negatives to hinder the Co moving forwards, we have a healthy bank balance, good forward order book, cash flow positive and dominant in a sector that has no direct competitor, a moat surrounds us best make sure noone can cross it!

Sellers dragging the sp lower...good off you go don't come back. As ever don't read too much into the b v s ratios as they are very unreliable and in no way trend the direction of travel of sp's. We hope investors latch on to the metrics as a guide to future sp performance, ok thats a big ask i know....and betting on Mr Market agreeing is a double ask. If this was an o...lie you'd be in big trouble! Late afternoon i'll settle for a 3 gain on the week.

Don't take much to move the sp UP or Down fact of life among thinly traded (we have a decent ff so kinda odd in our case) Aim shares ....even the good ones. But heh, check the graph let the trend 'n all that!

I should imagine there will be twitchy holders of both GVC & Sads this morning. Those Sads gains are imo too good to let slip away on the off chance of GVC paying at the bottom end c.160 & top end c.200 owing to the fobs issue. A bird in the hand an all that..

Labcold a UK medical & scientific refrigeration Co adopts Q-pulse across its organisation to modernise and centralise it's quality control systems. Michelle Rogers Sales & Marketing Director said Q-pulse would give Labcold peace of mind in regards to quality management.

So GVC back to walk up the aisle with Sads bidding c. £3.9bn cash & stock for the lot. Not sure if I was a GVC holder I'd want to be lumbered with 3000+ of bricks & mortar shops with the Govt threat on fobs hanging over their heads. So far GVC have over delivered to the market hence their 50p rise in their sp the thinking being GVC can sweat the assets more lucrative than Sads. Alexander will be the CEO of the enlarged group but there will be a culture clash as GVC are essentially an on line business paying a handsome dividend which might come under threat. Somehow they will flog off the shops if the bandits get a reduced prize to £20 as it's the online they are interested in. Question is what are the shops worth in a fire sale?

The UK tech (350) sector has been a stellar performer this year rising c.27% ytd but we'll off highs. The ftse a measly 3% lags here and in the US. Over the pond the Nasdq has risen c.25% and sectors pushing up the nos are AI, driverless cars, smart energy and imo the GRC sector in the UK. Given no nasty shocks companies with strong recurring revenues (Idea 57% of total revs) customer retention and support & maintenence renewals (97%) in Ideas case should cont to do very well next year and I'm not allowing for winning new customers as that's essentially not quantifiable at present. We expect more companies to adopt Ideas software but it's wait and see.

Good to see lots of sellers getting out of the way of our future progress. Any go-go stock needs good two way business to keep the sp ticking over.....mind you we could do with a lot more! But heh, slowly slowly catchee .... As we close out 2017 most will be very happy with a sp between 90-100 if you were in at start of the year.... I know I would. I know posting on stocks is not everyone's cup of tea but Idea deserves more than my witterings! So any help will be much appreciated be it negative or positive.....the more the merrier. PS. I'm now invested here so can talk my own book!

Good finish after a slow start this share keeps on giving....my three fig close by year end already history. In vol & bargain terms it's still a minnow and to date seems to have escaped the attentions of day traders & the like. No doubt as the stock becomes more widely known it's inevitable that the short term brigade will descend on Idea. However so far it's been a stellar year in sp terms, in newsflow, in new customers and in milestones achieved. Under promising and over achieving the Idea management are running a tight ship as we head into the new year, with no cash worries no debt and a growing GRC sector of which Idea has a tiny % i expect Idea to make inroads into the $4bn pie. With c. £30m top line this I'm sure will increase dramatically in '18 and we know how quickly cash gets thrown off to the net profit line. Managing shareholders expectations have been spot on to date and Idea has delivered in spades since their IPO. A quality hold for me.

Never wrong to move on if the stock does not meet your expectations. I have reduced 75% here leaving me an 'interest' position. Good luck comeonvog in whatever you do.

I'm annoyed that the new Aggreko contract/customer win wasn't RNS'd to the market. Keeping Ideagen at the forefront of the sector via newsflow is imperative for small Aim companies. FFS make sure the wider market gets to hear of every new customer buying Idea products and not just a small circle of 'in the know' pis. Hide not your light under a bushel!

On a massive debt reduction binge which kinda ties my hands atm. Still keep my eyes open for opportunities of which I've had a couple of ideas I'm involved in on the never never. Other than that same 'ol same 'ol!

Not sure why that US deal warranted an RNS & the Aggreko news did not? Did the Aggreko news come after hours? Whatever.... Ideagen sure is heading places!

Wonder what your new "not exactly dedicated" appointment will be paid? I was a holder in a tiny, no miniscule Aim stock that paid it's NED's £20k pa for attending a couple of board meetings followed by a 'swally' (GxT's £18.50) at the Ritz Hotel. Currently i'm an absentee Genel holder.
