Ok I'll answer my own Q...as long as they like like. No accounting for common sense among the market traders other than feathering their own nests of course....

Lots (well in Idea terms) share buys and the sp barely moves...typical of Aim stocks I'm afraid pis rarely move sp's just another cross to bear for '18 which won't be as good as '17 (sods law) effect....

Best of all to Zampis for '18. I don't expect fireworks this year and having reduced by c.80% I'll wait for H1 nos on whether to run the balance of my (loss) holding. Luckily losses here have been made up elsewhere but can still see a decent future for Zambeef but whether the markt sees it?.....

I suppose there are a few readers on this BB who don't post so here's to a happy Xmas to you all and the staff & management of Ideagen who have put in a sterling performance this year. If I had a wish list for '18 topping the list would be moving to the small cap sector, time for Idea to spread the word more widely because an AIM connotation has its drawbacks for Pension Funds and other iis who won't invest this far down the league tables. Add to this we pay a div, a rarity among Aim stocks. I think Idea has outgrown it's small- cap- start- up- status and while a mrkt cap of c. £200m keeps Idea firmly in Div 4 a move up the tables will see that no recede in the rear view mirror. Sooner or later the management will have to address this, might as well be now.

Take your pick on yesterday's vols. LSE showed 129K others 136k cannot fathom how vol details rarely agree. It's unreliable at the best of times as is the bvs! Best to view as an indication only....Whatever, we crept back to 100 and that looks like the year end no or around that. All in an excellent year for Idea (the little co with big ideas), one which they will build on throughout '18 as they make inroads into the $4bn sector. I'm not even thinking stock tips for '18 but ya never know!

The sp has dropped from c.108 (interday high) to 98 despite two high profile contract wins for the Co. Disregard pis selling for Xmas monies/profit taking one must wonder why the sp has fallen so much, which reinforces pis scepticism about sp moves having no bearing on the fundamentals. Unless you believe these recent contracts are or will be loss making fair enough but you'd be the only one. As we reckon sp moves are more a random walk than a non random walk (theory) that stock prices can to an extent be predicted. Whichever view you take and I'm in the random perverse walk camp your left with company performance as the only sensible yardstick in forming an opinion. They say the sp reflects everything known about the company, well perhaps and therein lies opportunities for investors if you believe a stock is mispriced. I look to the long view and accept that wild gyrations you cannot quantify is part'n parcel of investing in the stock market. Annoying as it is that sp's often fall on good news look at the stock price a year down the line, you won't be worrying about Ideas fall from 108-98. I'll lay money on that!

Small lot Xmas selling continues to give the Barrow boys some cheap stock. Ignore the sp moves they mean zilch to long termers and are just window dressing....well that's what Santa told me....

Phase 1 sees Multi Packaging Solutions adopt Q-Pulse for quality management across 70 of its global healthcare packaging operational sites mainly in N.America & Europe. In phase (2) MPS will roll out to several of its packaging operations in several locations in China to improve its supply chain to their clients. Should see further falls in the sp as sellers stock up for the Xmas jollies!

Pretty much u/c over the week (-0.5) on a big drop off in vols as expected. With only 5 more trading days till Xmas and then two and a half before the N.Y trading will slow to almost a halt. Could slip below 100 by close of year imo.

Christmas money for pis...cheers Idea! I'm going to ignore any price movements until the New Year, by that I mean at least Wk4 as there will be a lot of froth around pis banking profits, New Year tips, iis repositioning portfolios etc...& the odd ramp from yours truly!

Maybe we ain't as pretty as we thought...mind you in the UK any bidder will have to satisfy hundreds of regs, health and safety and goodness knows what else before taking another few months getting the US authorities on board. Jeez is it worth the agro? Lombard keep hoovering up loose stock and most likely know who the front runner is. Don't expect a big premium thats for sure if this ever gets sold?

Treading water yesterday small vols and just 23 trades,104.5 highest price paid. Good but could do better. Expect Idea to limit newsflow until into '18 as investors appetite for stocks takes a back seat to the upcoming festivities. Won't take much to push Idea a lot higher nxt year as the ff reduces by lth commitment.

Bit of Xmas selling going on or profit scalping as it's easy to get back in again sub 108-10 (Finn Cap trgt price). Never wrong to take a profit as they say, my only worry about that is where do I put the cash? Can't leave it in my bank as I'll be out on the spend & razz and heh presto it's gone! I think I'm staying pat on this one.

Only 12 more full trading days before 2017 closes. I expect to see Idea consolidate above 100 for the remainder of the year. While not in at anywhere near the bottom I'm c.15% up since purchase and look to more gains in 2018 as more and more companies adopt Q-pulse to manage their risks. I look to 2018 repeating this year's performance c.40% UP on the year.

Next important landmark will be the interims due late Jan'18. As a guide here are the comparable nos from last year. Rev £12m. Ebita £3.1m. Net cash £4.8m. Div 0.068 (+11%). David Hornsby has told the markt that Ideas trading is strong across all core markets and expects to report nos *significantly* ahead of last year. I'm sure 2017 will be another record year for the Co keeping those Rev, ebita & eps graphs climbing year on year.
