5 trades----21k vol no earthly why the sp should ease 1p considering the 350 tech rose 30 to 1566. As is the trend these days good news is 'bad' news for the sp and bad news is very bad news for the sp. Just joking ---- even a die hard sceptic like me does'nt quite believe that one. How much cash will these contracts boost the top line? That will be crucial to our progress but while the ss Ideagen continues to make inroads into the EDMS the bottom line will profit from continued winning contracts even if investors sell out as idea earnings & fcf improve. London looks lower today after a 250 fall on the Street so expect the sp to cont south as weak holders clear off.

SGS (Saudi Ground Services) buys into Ideagens Q-Pulse to help manage its quality cintrol and security management systems in 27 locations across the Kingdom. SGS provides handling services across all commercial airports in S.A.

16 bargains dealt -- 65K vol so nothing to write home about. Pis cont to sell out which gas been the direction of travel since idea hit 124 in early Feb. Shorters can close with a 10% profit but might look to hold off hoping for sub 110 by wks close. No doubt about it the manic performance of markets has spooked investors but long-termers can ride out the ups & downs as long as one is prepared to be patient.....at least that's the theory, that's what my Daddy told me!

3p off the sp last week as pis cont selling into the 52 wk rise and part of the mass dumping of UK stocks by investors this last year. The London mrkt hugely under performing the US and overseas mrkts. Brexit and Govt worries the main cause...... as investors are selling first and asking questions later. I see no reason to sell Idea of course im not sitting on huge profits like some so no need to sell down to the sleeping level. London looks a bit better at open with the Dow called 100+ later this afternoon.

Anyone looking at the trade vols can be excused thinking the co is in the doo-doo. Far from it. Pis are fickle creatures ducking in 'n out for a profit which is probably the way to play the game to be fair. Old codgers like me who look at the fundamentals and balance sheets are a dying breed. I get the contrarian position of selling into a rising stock, i just dont go with the flow. Stick with the winners and add when you can.

EDMS market size expected to exceed US$6bn by 2024.

A nothing session shares remain u/c on the day with only 57k traded. Investors see no compelling reason to invest while mrkts remain so volatile. This is likely to cont for sometime to come. Sage, Aveva & GB Group were the main gainers. The 350 tech remains 13% down on ytd.

A bit of to. ..ing and fro..ing today so don't expect any upward movement in the sp in the short term. Investors are just too scared to put their heads above the parapets -- and who can blame them? If your invested best stay put for now and see what happens when inflation nos come out tomorrow. Cannot see any major shocks but heh...the mrkts as ever will put their own spin on them and by then it will be too late for you and me. Great shame just as Idea was performing strongly we have had this sudden. ..yes sudden retrace in the markets which we may have thought was on the cards....but not quite so viciously! Anyways --- better now than in a few months time as we have 10 months ahead of us to really screw things up.....and believe me we will!

I guess any recent investor present in Idea.....has to to think his investment time frame is longer than the end of his nose. Ok that's a stretch I grant you.....a very big one. Whatever dropping off your nose or not -- one thinks your in the merry-go-round for a decision? If you have to make one, In this crazy topsy turvy mrkt. ...nothing new gives you a sensible decision to make. Best buy and hold and forget daily + /- if your undecided. But that's an old lag talking so as ever your choice.

Better day in London all sectors gaining the techs adding 15 posting a near 7% rise over 1 year with Sage & Aveva to the fore. No move on Idea and no newsflow which as you know is the lifeblood of Aim shares. Ftse is called better at open but as usual all eyes will be on the Dow after last night's 410 rise. To date the Dow has regained 1307 of the 2226 lost in the rate sell off and opinions are divided as to where the market is headed from here. The bears say rate rises, Govt debt & inflation will pull the mrkt lower the bulls point to the global economy, excellent co earnings (boosted by tax cuts) and Trump's infrastructure plans as the basis for the bull to cont his 9 year run. My gut feeling is all good things come to an end and the recent 26617 high for Mr Jones is it.

London looks brighter after those large falls across all mrkts last week. Called c.90 better and the Dow on the front foot later on should see a bit of consolidation. Inflation nos due this week. Don't expect these to trigger another sell off of equities.....take your pick where the sp starts from -- 113 or 115 or 118?

Wk 6 ended badly all round though the Dow did it's usual last minute turn round jumping 330 at close. The SxP, one time heading to bear mrkt territory closed at 2620 well off interday low. Little sign of any panic selling in Idea stock and I expect a rise from here this coming week if mrkts stabilise.

Idea 8% off high posted 2/2 understandable holders short or long are twitchy given the mayhem in these schizophrenic mrkts. Keeping my head down awaiting sensible heads returning and where good companies revert to normal valuations whatever that is?

Following another 1000 point loss on the Street over night expect London to open lower around 30-40 points as Dow futures are trading up 250. Despite the current mayhem in N.Y. the Dow posts a 21% gain over the last 13 months and while 1000 point falls are very unusual they only represent c.3-4% nothing like the 20% tanking in one day in '87....now that was real scary...I know it cost me plenty. I'm happy that Idea is debt free with int rate rises coming soon small cap debt laden companies are to be avoided.

Better day in London town all indices UP even the techs managed a 1.5% gain on the day but still posting a near 11% loss on ytd. Sage & Aveva were the stand out rises. Sp trades last logged 114 bid 118 offer ----- both snapped up. Expect more choppy sessions in the days ahead as the usual worries are still with us, the main concern is when will the Fed raise rates? Next meeting is in March. The Gov of BOE might give mrkts a hint on rates on Friday? Other than that I continue to hold doing my best to ignore daily moves.....unless a lit lower of course!

No change to the sp...not surprised despite 118 offer and taken. If I was a mrkt maker I'd be very cautious and likely want to take the sp lower to c.105-10 for sure to shake out a few loose holders. Vol of c.78K not bad given the poor background and jitters about the US mrkts direction. The ftse has retraced 164 pts of the 211 pre melt-up on 2/2. I have zero faith in the Lse and but for being invested here I'd be long gone.

No dead cat bounce but the Dow is called lower at open which is limiting ftse gains today. More volatility expected these sell offs take a while to work through the market systems. The sudden shock was on Monday we'll now have most likely jolts along the way till the markets direction is confirmed. I doubt this is the start of a bear market the upward momentum in global earnings, credit markets open for business historic low rates even if raised do not make for a bear market which starts at c.20% off its 52wk peak. Forecasting is a mugs game and apart from anything else did not the mrkt think there was a chance the Fed would raise rates months ago? So why the sudden panic? Imo shares (US) got too high too quickly and investors jumped at the chance to lock in profits. The slump/correction could have happened next week or next month. I doubt were in bubble territory a la the tech one of the 90's when the Nsdq jumped from low 100's to 1000+ crashing back to 400. Over exuberance not fully understanding the limitations of tech stocks hence misspricing and no historic evidence to support valuations or fully appreciate risk started the rot. Once the penny dropped that liquidity had dried up, there was a rush for the exits.

Lse missing c.120k vols & the close wasnt 120. Oh well it's only money so nobodies bothered....except me!! The ftse sure wasn't buying any of the Dows medicine flying up over 200 as London limped away to lick it's wounds tanking 193. The worst performing sector was the tech down 12% ytd followed by the 350 OG (8%),Ftse, AS & 250 all 7% adrift. The majority of techs eased 1-4% on the day. If the Dow keeps up its turnaround (+168 atm) and it's a big if and Asia tags along we should see Idea back at 120 double quick. Gut feeling this is a dead cat bounce day but I'm usually wrong....soon see.

Smart about turn of c.500 pts in first hour or so of trading. Not out of the woods by any means as this might encourage more selling from those who missed the last spike. Best be on the side lines and watch. Little of the Dows moves impact on Idea outside of background noise and bleatings by pis caught on the wrong side of trades. Trading these manic swings is for seasoned pros with deep pockets. As a lth I can even out the irrational swings of traders and sleep a lot easier at night. I'm looking to wk 52 not wk 6-7 or 8.
