Cheers JFT...one can only stand so much pain ( you have to be thick skinned to invest here or bloody rich), jeez I've expierenced it before in a stock that went from £10 to 1.5p....yes one and a half effn pence and then suffered a near 2 year suspension just to rub it in and I did not have peanuts invested either I might add. No consolation to you but G is not treating you like that and your loss has now been crystallized. Keep watching but remember you don't have to recoup losses from the same share which most pis try to do. That's a common mistake which I have fallen into a couple of times. I'm confident you will be back your resistance broken for very few pis leave a stock forever when you see new opportunities to remain the bandwagon.

Now is not the time to be deserting this share....easy for me to say...but if I had cash this would def be on my radar as a poss multi bagger from here on in...speaking of that... JFT....it's more mrkt specific than board management of Co affairs. I've never been a fan of boards commenting willy nilly on anything detrimental to the sp. That's not the way to go as your dancing to the mrkts tune. Here I disagree with you, I think on balance the Management given the constraints have done a good job. Regrettably that has not translated into the sp going up is unfortunate but no more or less than a cynic like me expects. One day Rodders?

Cannot say this stock is not consistent in its unswerving fall from the 290s. Perhaps another 50% downgrade to our reserves will skyrocket the price because everything else fails! Hate to say it but I'm very glad I swerved buying back in up in the 250s, more luck than judgement I think but......I have become very bearish about the sp outlook which ignores all sp value making any purchase akin to the variables of the roulette wheel with double zeros....which come to think of it is a better be than wasting money here. If you can catch the turn you will do very very well even if it costs you money in the short term.

Know that retail investors lose money trading CFDs c.80% of the time? Yikes thats better than the 6-8% i work on winning over a years punting on the nags.

A bright start to the week in Asia led by Shanghai which jumped over 100 pts (4%) by mid-day lifting others across the region, TK up 112, HK +610. Mrkts expect Beijing to stimulate the economy in the months ahead after the slightly disappointing GDP nos last wk. The nos: 0il $79.96. Gold $ 1231. £$ 1.306. FF -2 & DF +14. There was no Nov-Dec rally last yr for G, shares slipped from 115 to 108. Could do with a reversal this year given the better nos especially the OP which averaged just $61 in Q4 '17. With the mrkt looking the other way when it comes to Gs being net cash plus and debt free, one would not expect a 'Santa rally' unless investors have a change of heart. Perhaps the 'politic' now largely resolved will be the catalyst for a re-rate but i wouldn't bet on it, would you? Morning all, only 8 more trading wks to Christmas....heh heh heh!

Asian mrkts were down across the board SH the worst fell 2%. In London only the 250 fell (-183) the rest marginally up. The 5 day nos: Oil $80.02 (-0.50%) Gold $1230 (+0.70%). £$ 1.306. £€ 1.134. Have your fun with the Fri comp, Oil at $80.42. Will S.Arabia try and tank world mrkts by turning off the taps over the Kashoggi affair? I very much doubt it given internal considerations and keeping Donald on side. Time will tell but like Brexit a fudge acceptable to all will no doubt be fashioned for Saudi to escape without too much egg on their faces. Business as usual.

US mrkts had a duff day the Dow pulled out of a 470 low to close down 327 at 25379, the S&P off 40 & Nsdq down 158. World and China growth slowing / the Fed's hawkish view on rates were the main concerns yesterday as 3Q nos continue to surprise, Philip Morris added 3.5% on beating forecasts. Earlier only the S/caps & Aim posted gains the 100 down 28 hovering above 7000. A mixed batch of data and Brexit cont to dog London shares. Asia danced to the Dows tune, heading towards close the Nikkei Is off 232, HK down 88 & SH back to level after falling 30 on GDP nos much as expected (6.5%) just 0.2% worse. The nos: Oil $79.43. Gold $ 1231. £$ 1.302. £€ 1.136. Coin $ 6455. Vix 20. FF +9 & DF +63. Morning all.

Well...aint going down, as the Dow opens 100 off...not that there is any correlation for obvious reasons....even OP sub $80 has limited effect.... initially. Don't count on that being the case later on. Watch'n wait is the strategy coming up to the wk/end, so imo just hold your fire if your itching to add here.

JFT I sympathise, at least you put your money where your....unlike me as I have lost all faith in this stock ever delivering value for holders outside of a long shot tk/over. Sincerely hope you & other die hard G men will be rewarded in time. Unfortunately the omens look poor short term so you will have to grin and bear it. Pray for a miracle, you never know.

Murats recent 'trousering' of freebie shares (he could have declined) hell, the poor man must be short of money....has put me off investing my last few k in here (for the moment). Silly to base ones investment in a Co on option awards to board members, but there you go. If the sp had been at 400+ I might have taken a diff view but I effn doubt it. That kind of award demands exceptional performance which obviously the board thought was well deserved. Pity investors were not advised as to how he achieved such a bounteous sum despite the doubling of the sp. For sure above board etc..., nevertheless leaves a bad taste to long sufferers here. Those with avc of sub 150 i doubt could give a ***k.

The Dow pulled out of a 300 (Fed happy to push rates higher) dive in the morning to back in the black by mid session. Resistance is seen as the Dow nears 25200. Big Blue (IBM) was in focus as Q3 nos missed on revs the shares closed near 2016 lows off 8% to $134, the worst performer on the 500. Of the analysts covering the stock 12 have hold ratings, 3 sell & 9 buy. Top gainer on the day was GS +3% to $228 & Netflix cont its upward move after Q3 nos. Cannabis stocks (4) we're in focus 3 of them falling steeply early on but trimmed losses at close. Ytd the Dow is up 4%, 500 +5% & Nsdq +11%. This morning in Asia Chinese weakness knocks others in the region. China was off 51 c.2% on local factors the Nikkei down 120 on weak energy stocks while financials gained on prospects of higher rates. HK flat after 1 day holiday. No Asian mrkts are up ytd. Earlier in the day London was lower across the board on Brexit impasse (extending the transition process another year). The 250 the main casualty off 136. A weaker pound on inflation data added to the 100 (7055) weakness. Ytd 100 is down 8% the 250 also off 8%. Late news: The offer (£600m) to buy Wembley has been withdrawn. The nos: Oil $80.09. Gold $1226. £$ 1.310. £€ 1.138. Coin $ 6518. Vix 17. FF +15 & DF -45. Morning all.
