We're well short of the 3-4m daily trades you mentioned but we'll likely hit 2m for the week when the afternoon crowd return from lunch.

Daily sp up's and down's are par for the course but sometimes we forget the protection of capital. Was that £20,000 sell yesterday exactly that?
I dunno, I sure wouldn't be selling so maybe if a pis has some info not available to the rest of us he's getting out or reducing. He'd have to be close to the action and risks trading on inside info if an RNS lands today with bad news.

Doubt that's the case, more likely he's protecting profits as I have never met a pis who has the ear of the CEO and the risk that entails......even among the Wild West of Aim stocks.

A pandemic among the (80m) unvaccinated in America is causing the Delta variant to take hold in the Mid West and other places. Texas and Florida account for (44,000) of the daily numbers. Biden is cracking down on those who refuse to get the jab, blaming them fo putting other citizens at risk. Some form of mandatory vaccination is being pursued particularly among healthcare workers. Currently the infection rate is higher than last year with daily rates around (150 -160,000) and fatalities at (c.1500). At its peak the daily infection rate hit c.225,000+.

US mrkts are slowly waking up to this 4th wave impacting on jobs and stalling the recovery. A ****tail of worries face financial mrkts, China growth, the persistence of the Delta variant, toppy techs, global growth peaking, rate worries, a set of mixed US Co results, Broker downgrades on US equities and consumer spending. Despite this gloomy background the Dow is 17% ahead under Biden and 14% up ytd.

Hi nobul. I still keep an eye on REA with hopes, slim as they are of buying back in. He'll with cif (R) in the $1200 range and REA see c.50% disappear up in smoke ain't a formula I'm much attracted to.
From memory I pencilled in more than $7•6m but as per REA always have unexpected costs that kibosh the numbers and its like pushing water uphill on the total debt.

Still think I did the right thing in selling up, even if my pick hasn't yet delivered. Hope it works out for you and devonplay.

Good man Metals. At my local we have had 5 deaths this year. Two from covid, 1 in his sleep, one fell downstairs while under the influence and one from a sudden onset of cancer. Oldest among them 55!

Will the slow drip, drip down towards 10 continue? If the trend is your friend expect more of the same I suppose.
Always risky selling when an imminent RNS could catapult the sp out of its downward spiral but that's the risk you take if your a shorter. I certainly don't want to be short PAT.

I want to be on the upside of the coin, which I rate an 80/20 bet on all the positives referenced recently. I think MB has played it sensibly, not over promising or hyping the resource assays to date.

US stocks ended lower led by techs, energy and industrials. Gold traded near 2 wk lows. Some talk from Fed officials that 'tapering' should start before year end flew in the face of a record number of unemployed which hit 10•9m in July as a record nos of job remained unfilled.
Bank of America have turned bearish forecasting a 6% fall on the 500 by year end and flat into 2022 advising clients not to commit any longterm funds due to the Fed's 'will they, won't they' economic policy.

Losses in Asia, TK (-140), HK (-434) mirrored those of the US and stocks were hit by big rises in Chinas factory gate inflation due to soaring raw material costs. The Producer price index rose nearly 10% in August. Australia's ASX 200 (7389) slumped 125 mid pm hit by falls in resources and the worsening covid situation.

A good deal of scepticism abounds here atm and little buying ahead of expected good news.....I wonder why?Ytd the shares are 60% down and nudging the year low of 10, we can't blame Bhukia for that.

Perverse as it seems we are in the hands of day traders and a disbelieving mrkt atm where sellers are outpacing buyers. Until verification from Labolla and Bassala we will drift lower imo. The odds favour holding over selling atm. I don't want to be out when this surges.

The Dow fell 269, with 8/11 sub indexes falling battered by a Morgan Stanley note downgrading US equities to 'underweight' and advising clients they forecast a 10%-15% pull back in stocks by year end. Goldman cut its '21 economic outlook growth to 5•7%. Gold slipped below $1800 on USD strength and rising T/Bill yields.

The Nsdq (+23) climbed to a record close with Apple ($157) and Netflix ($613) at New record highs. At close of business fallers outpaced risers by c.2•5:1 on the DJI.
