Thanx mickey1122 but there's many a slip between cup and lip I'm sure most holders favour a license as any case for compensation would be a total frustration given the Indian Court system and damaging to the sp given the unwillingness of Govts to pay up should we succeed in the Court. We enter an extremely crucial period in PAT's history.

Strange week given the unrealised expectations we actually finished better. As has been the case this year India has dominated investors hopes. News of our Court hearing in Delhi today prompted some speculative buying. As we know rarely anything goes to plan when your snarled up in the Indian judicial system and the day dragged on with no news.

Whether we faced the Judge or not nothing was forthcoming which could have been the lawyers dotting the i's and crossing the t's before agreeing any announcement to the mrkts. So maybe next week we will hear something if by then the lawyers have stopped billing their hours.

Given the fog surrounding where we go from here the shares put on another good performance. Vols on the wk topped 1m for the 6th straight (flattered by that 500k off book deal) and bargains dealt at 91was about the monthly average. The shares closed at 15•50 a gain of (7%) on the week.

Other WA gold miners were mostly lower (see below) while Gold once again defied the bulls finishing off at $1783 down $1on the week despite US CPI at c.7%. Brent ended at $75•27 gaining $5 and is 46% up ytd.

You know as well as I do that today's uplift is purely speculative. We need a RNS from MB as to the outcome if any from the supposed Court hearing today. I'm not banking on any positive news because we should have heard by now if our petition ever got in front of the judge. Put the news on the back-burner and have a good wk/end.

I don't think it matters much, list or no list...getting infront of the Judge is a major hurdle and given the Indian Courts don't exactly run to any schedule and its 6:00pm already they have all p****d off home for the wk/end. Very unlikely we will hear anything today. So a good time for the jobbers to lower the price. Oh well there's always Christmas day or New Years day for an RNS...keep smiling guys!

Just 1 buy this morning...the calm before the storm?

It's 2:10 pm Delhi time so should here something shortly...

It's 10:40 am in Delhi so the case should be in session assuming no last minute objections. Will it be another kick into the long grass or has MB used his ace kicker to good effect? A resolution is long overdue which will benefit both parties.

US mrkts ended lower after a 3 day rally the DJI up (562) ended flat but the Nsdq took the bigest hit off 245 at close. Jobless claims fell to 184,000 the lowest for 50 years as employers seek to fill vacancies. Investors will be watching for the CPI nos due today forecast at 6%-7%.

Electric vehicles stocks took a bashing after Lucid Groups proposed offer to iis to raise $1•75bn via convertible notes. The SEC investigating the SPAC merger panicked investors into dumping the stock 19% to $36. Warren Buffets latest investment got off to a solid start, NuBank the Brazilian financial tech Co rose 36% on its inaugural day. WB has a $500m stake which is small potatoes for BH.

One time meme stock darling Gamestop (video games retailer) slumped 10% to $158 as widening Q3 losses disappointed investors. The stock is down from $310 in January.

Evening star786 yea these off book trades are deals agreed between the 2 parties so could go either way, had it been an on exchange trade the timing would suggest a sell. Whatever £75k sell or buy should have little impact on a Co capitalised at £15m outside of the jobbers over reacting for their own ends. Probably we shouldn't really be talking about a 'non event' when there are far more important matters.

Just watching GB news then a couple of hours kip before Test Match cricket on Radio 5LExtra....c'mon England!

Be interesting to see what the mrkt thinks of the late reported off book sell at open tomorrow. In terms of % not earth shattering, just •5% of outstanding. Not going to speculate as to the motives of such a trade but the mrkt should be able to accommodate the sell with ease.
