6000 sells, 11p off the sp in the crazy casino hour. Ignore its meaningless and an oppo to pick up some cheap stock.

No doubt REA is heading in the right direction, Prefs being repaid, CPO revenues well ahead of last year, monies coming in from our Coal/Stone interests, reduction in longterm debt and regular cash flows make for good reading.

All round a huge improvement on past years and long overdue it has to be said. As long as the Govt keep their sticky hands off palm companies we're headed for another profitable year.

REA heading in the right direction as CPO revs remain well above last year. Add in significant monies coming in from our Coal / Stone operations, reduction in longterm debt and excellent cash flows.... this year looks to be on for a second profitable year.

Investors sit on the sidelines across Asia awaiting the ECB meeting later today for news on rates and the Asset Purchase program. Surprisingly the Eurozone economy grew much faster in Q1 than in the previous 3 months despite the Ukraine crisis.

Next on the list is US CPI data due Thursday where annual inflation is expected to hit 8•3%. US 10y/tb rose to 3•055% following a weak auction on the notes. Crude rose to the highest level in 3 months ($124) on strong US demand and recovery in China and Gold was flat at $1854.

The ask is 7•50 and currently sells of 28,729 at (7), 126,000 at (6•75) & 230,000 at (7•00). So no rise in the sp. Confirming the current trend wk to date sells outnumber buys by 16:1 and as per usual the latest RNS had no positive effect. No use complaining it is what it is....

Asia trades significantly higher tracking Wall St's gains on Tuesday, despite the World Banks forecast of global stagflation amid a sharp slowdown in growth, rising inflation and Ukraine. World growth forecasts have been cut from 5•7% to 2•9% making it very hard for many countries to avoid recessions.

At mid session Asian mrkts are higher led by Tokyo up over 200 as data showed the economy contracted less than forecast and HK snaps 2 days of losses gaining 370 at mid session. Shanghai slips (23) on profit taking after 3 days of gains. The ASX is up (24) despite a bigger than expected interest hike of 50 basis to •85%.

London is called 20 higher with the Dow off 87.

Asian mrkts are mixed with no clear direction following Wall St's limp performance on Monday. Traders await this week's key inflation report which should offer cues on the interest rate outlook.

Japan is expecting a boost as international travellers return for trade shows. The 225 trades up 155 at lunch with HK off 25 and Shanghai (+15) continues the gains seen last week.

Futures are lower London called 40 down and the DJ off 160. Gold and Crude are slightly better at $1847 & $120 while Palm is flat at $1765 following the resumption of exports.

A stronger than expected jobs report set the tone for mrkts across Asia-Pacifica this morning. Despite broadly negative cues from the 'Street'
over the outlook for interest rates this was offset by China returning to work and the easing of covid restrictions in Shanghai. Tokyo, HK & Shanghai are all positive as are SK and Taiwan but 'Pacifics' are all lower following falls on Wall St late on Friday.

Gold is flat after the US economy added 390,000 jobs last month and a stronger USD is keeping recessionary fears at the forefront of investors minds, as the Fed will almost certainly raise rates by 50 basis in June keeping Gold in a narrow $1820-1880 range.

Oil trades at $120 with 'peak' oil on the horizon. One scenario is seeing oil demand being stong to 2025 then flat through to 2030 before slipping to $90s from 2040. Of course others take a less bullish view on oil prices.

Futures call London opening up 53 and the Dow 140. The ftse continues to outpace the Dow & the S&P by c.12% ytd as mrkts enter the Summer slow down.

I was being facetious....(had a bad experience with PH) years ago....

That's the best sell signal I've seen in years as PH becomes joint Broker to HOC. Thank God I have a very small exposure here! Good luck if your holding.....
