I suspect that the vast majority of the companies shareholders are not holders for inheritance tax planning reasons, so if it is abolished, I would hope there would not be a huge sell off esp ahead of hopefully good news the next day??
RE: SP falling on NICE news rejecting breakthroughs?23 Oct 2024 17:52
Lots of positive news due though on various fronts but I do think the company will be taken out before too long. It would be the most sensible way to get their two tests to market quicker than soldering along on their own.
Totally irrelevant news....the Chairman has sold companies for hundreds of millions, so he knows what he is doing (hence his buy in August was very significant positive signal).
Slacker it was not a bombshell RNS at all as it just confirmed the provisional recommendation of stroke testing (both lab and PCT) earlier in the year. It was a significant milestone for the company esp as their test was confirmed as the preferred PCT and they also stated it could be used in lab settings
Lionel, thanks for posting the positive update re Salford but reading more closely it suggests the pilot will be based on lab testing not PCT. Or have I misread? Hopefully the company is busy selling direct to Labs anyhow.

Roger, you said you had rebought in last week (despite previously claiming you wouldn't until the next RNS). Are you holding or have you sold out again?

Porky thanks a good analysis but as per option 4, I think the tech has proved to be unique and first class and as per the recent NICE recommendations is very much wanted.
