Working off lloy fundamentals at the top of this page , it tells us as of 31/12/'19 lloy has £830 BN in assets . We are told this mess will cause physical assets to shrink 10 to 20% in value . At 10% best case scenario , that's £83 BN , the only way to make up CET is to curtail div this yr and next .
As I see it 25p is a given , as for 20p it will depend on how much faith the market has in lloy .

My grandmother who passed away 30 yrs back had a saying for every event , I did ask her to write a book about them way before the time was up . Reading your sayings brings back memories .

If ever there was confirmation the stock market is gambling , these moments in time are . Last yr when Dow was @ 24k , we were told they'd push it to 27k , when that milestone was reached we were told it will be enhanced to 30k , the last 3 months whilst CV was in full swing . The relevant crooks pulled the plug a cats whisker away from 30k .

We are told , in the event of a black swan event Dow will correct 50% from its true value , that I perceive to be 12k from true value , so 14/15k is realistic in my eyes . FTSE and lloy will follow accordingly , but I will not commit myself to lloy trough , I'm working off the Dow .

TA doesn't take into account Global variables . TA provides you with tunnel vision . A 50% correction was to be anticipated in the event of , to quote redial , "force majeur " .

For 4 yrs I have been warning folk on here there's a gap from 2009 @ 28p that needs closing . Such observations were to save folk money , not for my personal gain , as if my input would move lloy share price . You call it a Force Majeur , I call it a black swan event . It was inevitable the manner Dow was growing without corresponding improvement in fundamentals .

Lloy has further to fall , our FTSE follows Dow , hence lloy . Won't be backin en force till Dow gets to 14/15k .

As for Brent returning to $100-150 range , keep dreaming .

As for Brent , At these levels , Chinese will be kicking themselves building 1 coal fired power stn a week , when oil will be cheaper .

I honestly hope you're keeping well bud , long time no hear !

I did point out 3 yrs back houses selling for 5% yield whilst mine underwritten @ 8% . There was something wrong with the system then and this cv lark has only brought it to the fore ! Businesses are going to be stripped of the fat they had in their equity , making it harder to borrow against , slowing down this recovery .

Following this mess , there has to be a new world financial order , whereby free market forces Globally are independent of political posturing .

It's a recognised fact , 70% of single ownership restaurants go under within 5 yrs , hence banks demanding 50% security . When they go bust banks lose their whole investment , Anthony Worrel Thompson was the prime example 11 yrs ago .

The problem for lloy was created by our Gov 7 yrs back when they introduced 'help to buy ' , this distorted free market forces and inflated house prices . Now that there's going to be an asset price correction of ~20% , anyone who bought in last 3 yrs will either have no equity or be in negative equity in their home . Large proportion of mortgages financed by lloy . Lloy will then be required to enhance its CET parameters . No divs in '20 , no divs in '21 .

Had our Gov not distorted free market forces in the housing sector , out of populism , the pain to be endured would be of shorter duration . Lloy recovery is +2 yrs .

The friend of your grandson was an amazing human being !!! I read the other day a story of Lombardy parishioners buying a ventilator for their local priest , who had cv19 , he gave it to someone more in need , lost his life as a consequence . Humanity at its best . That young fella is a true hero !! As a youngster in NI , it was rammed down our throats , 99% of folk are sound ! Only the 1 % spoil it for all . We have to remind ourselves the instances of inhumanity are committed by the 1% . This miserable experience is bringing out the best in us all !! As a nation let's set an example , once again , to the EU as they bicker amongst themselves over scarce resources .

Thank you ! Surely it would have made more sense for lloy to cash in 12% yielding bonds/ Securities before embarking on the buybacks . BOD have dropped a clanged .

May this be an example for yrs to come , FI bought lloy @~60's p , G Osborne is some salesman , with all the high tech devices at their disposal , it looks like they omitted to incorporate the worst case scenario . Another lesson that will be forgotten 12 yrs from now .

Following this cv mess , and the enhanced debt to be accrued , a new world order has to materialise . Global debt is unrepayable , folk taxed to extreme , Brent guaranteed to be under $30 for posterity , inflation a distant memory , G20 have to come to an agreement how to write off this debt and balance a sustainable FX .

Italy and Spain want " Corona bonds " , Germany , Netherlands , Finland say no . In Italy petition to leave EU . Mrs Merkel so fed up is threatening to leave EU . It now transpires EU banks not declaring their true exposure .

It's a perfect storm , a chain of events commenced by cv19 that will escalate . EU is heading for a mega recession to which we won't be impervious . Asset price correction in full swing . My buy in price of 28p will have to be revised down .
