What we want, before the end of the month is an RNS saying "THE FARMOUT IS COMPLETE"

If it does tank I will fill my boots and halve my average.
If we get the farmout signed I will watch the price and take some profit (when there is some), but I will hold at least 50% until we spud.

I also thought I'd made £1000 (on paper) but HL and The London Stock Exchange think otherwise.

Firstly thanks to cperkin, Crusty, fjones and obone for your good wishes.
I'll have the ipad with me and will try to keep up with whats going on, but I know from previous experience I will be completely out of things for a few days.
Second frank could you send me a copy of the recording - I've emailed you.
GLA LTH - still hoping for a signature before close of play Fri but realistically expecting yet another extension. Looking on the bright side that might give me the time to get out of hospital !

Crsuty totally agree - basically so far, until the farmout is signed ( please without any extension - I doubt it though ), its just more of the same interminable wait.
Holding (grimly). Thu next I am in hospital for at least 3 weeks and will have other matters on my mind. Great.

So I can sell for the same price as yesterday and have made nothing - but can only buy for .05 more ( and the sp - not the price paid ?) is up .05 ?

Killed sentiment with one video presentation unexpectedly revealing no spud this year ?

The 105618 buy was mine, outside an ISA, rounding up my holding.
However ever since then I have been unable to get a price to buy in my ISA for anything from 100,000 to 400,000 shares despite trying repeatedly for the last 3 hours.
Somebody trying to fill a large buy order maybe ?
Anybody else having the same problem ?

No RNS Tue, No Farmout ( unless its announced Wed Thu or Fri ).
How can you have a (closed) AGM when you don not know WTF. is going on ?
Maybe more to the point, Why would you do that ?
Shambolic at best, underhanded at worst - we will very soon know.
I didn't think it was possible to mored p'd off with the company but if there is one thing they are good at increasing the p'd off measure must be it.

Bg your 09:56 I genuinely hope you are right and I am wrong for all our sakes. SXX was a very hard and very expensive lesson which I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Bg your 08:51 correct, but - if they play it the way it was done with SXX and wait until the farmout doesn't happen, then ask for their loan etc to be paid forcing AEX into a cash call or administration they can “rescue” us by buying the company and taking it private.
In those circumstances a “reasonable offer” could be the ave over a few months say around 0.80 to 0.90 - so they could buy the whole assets for the mcap at that price say £30m securing the entire field bar Solo's 25% which they could buy comparatively cheaply say another £30m.
In that scenario assuming the assets are worth the postulated 7p to 10p per share medium term they pocket a profit of maybe 400% plus. A quote about a large institution offering to finance SXX which sticks in my mind is that “in the world of business you cannot trust anybody - they will steal your eyeballs and then come back to scrape the sockets”.
I fear this situation is starting to look uncomfortably close to the predicament SXX found themselves in through ( most charitably ) very inept management, or maybe by design ?

BG exactly whats worrying me. SXX were taken private squeezing out 85,000 shareholders at an average loss of 75% as the sp had been allowed to drift ( massaged down deliberately ? ) after months of bad news, failed financing and “help” from institutional investors.
Anglo American then made an offer based on recent average sp and picked up a £200bn asset for £300m, despite well over £1bn spent on construction funded by retail investors.
A few people made a fortune the rest of us were shafted.

Chris still can't get my head around how they can hold an AGM 2 days before the latest long stop extension. How can plans be made or agreed without knowing what will happen on Friday, unless the farmout is signed before Wednesday ?
