Will the increase in mcap due to the placing lift the sp after next week as the dilution seems to be priced in already ?
Hiw do you see the sp in the future - now we know there will be no more than 8bn shares until bond conversions take place and even then worst case no more than 10bn ( based on what we know now ) if Chris Frasers £20bn NPV becomes a reality say 2024 an sp between £1 and £2 must be a realistic possibility ?

why would anyone sell ( especially in millions ) at the lowest price of the day ?

Andy yes but even at 50% NPV with 10BN shares (nowhere near that yet 8BN ) the sp should be between £1.10 and £1.53 in 2024, using the Investor presentation NPV Figures.
Not what I hope but still a near 6 bagger for me which will be worthwhile.

Andy no doubt, but I'm hoping they want more initially from interst but also an improved ( more realistic ? ) sp - this is so low its bloody ludicrous, even allowing for dilution, if you take into account the difference where we are now from 2016 or even 2018.

That'll do Appychap as long as its steady and keeps going, which it surely should now,(barring any construction issues) as we've made so much progress.
If you are right that just gives us a couple more months to add shares - surely the II's will want to see a return as well and the bond holders could always hang on to theirs to see a nice return on the shares as well as a couple of years ( or more ) interest ?

Another topup today.Now managed to get my ave down from 25.75 to 24.11.
IMO this is only a blip. Once the agm is done and shares are admitted 23/5 the MCAP will lift.
Bonds placed, sooner rather than later, will unlock the rest and shorters will depart leaving the sp to recover.
I doubt we'll see high 30's for a while but I believe sentiment will drive this back into the mid 20's.
Just ignore the rubbish for a few weeks and we'll get there. GLA LTH.

If the sp stays low and I can find some cash, may well top up a little more if not, happy days.

in assuming that once the initial placing is settled no further bonds are convertible until 2027 in which case the likely shares in issue figure will not top 8bn before 2027 ?
If so I make the future sp in 2021 at 50% 13MTA NPV £5.9BN 74p & 2024 NPV £8.7BN £1.09P
( although worth noting production at 13MTA scheduled for 2026 )
50% 20MTA NPV 2024 would give £12.2BN or £1.53 ( also worth noting production at 20MTA scheduled for 2029 )

We may also get positive updates on construction progress as well as revised ( shorter ) construction timescales
if the TBM and Vertical Shaft Borer perform up to ( or as anticipated better than ) spec ?
We could certainly do with some good feedback to help lift the doom and gloom around the necessary, but far from ideal ,finance solution imposed on us by circumstance.
Hard to believe the SP and MCAP at present but at least the MCAP should see a major uplift shortly ?

Verde thanks for that very informative. Not dissimilar circumstances so a shorter horizon than 2029 would suit me personally as well. I will have a proper read as you suggest.

I'd love to go Crusty but I have a disabled wife and son to care for so that would be very difficult. As well as finding the trip to Dublin very expensive.
Also I seriously doubt it would actually do any good - the board have not and do not listen. I am down 69% on this share around £13000 so why throw more good money after bad ?
