Thanks Scotman - that makes perfect ( and on reflection bloody obvious ) sense, although a lot would depend on the timing of the transaction/disclosure ?
Maybe I'm seeing shadows where there are none, or just getting paranoid after holding these shares for 4 years.

Or 18:05 on a Friday before a bank holiday weekend ?
Except its after the close of business and as long as possible before the next trading day, maybe ?

As no one has come back I have written to the RNS service at London Stock Exchange to ask if it is normal to issue an RNS after close of play on a Friday and under what circumstances an RNS should be issued at a time other than 07:00.
If I get an answer from them I will share.

Wonder why they waited until just after 6pm on the Friday befoteva bank holiday weejend to make this particular announcement ?
Burying controversial news ? Avoiding a spike in sp ? How often is an RNS put out after close of play on a Friday ?

I did hope to make a few bob myself but now it looks as if it will take more time to get a return than I can probably afford, so the shares will probably go to my sons.
Glad for them - I think this will be a good long term investment, but pretty pi**ed off for myself.

Myo to hazard a guess as to the profit they made 240m x 5p say ? Around a cool £12m ?

WWW you're theory certainly holds up to scrutiny against historic sp charts.
The timing of course is unpredictable and dictated by unannounced RNS's, which is what makes it so tricky, for most.

Slurms is that the prospectus issued 01/05 ?
Capital were offloading 2 months before that - with the benefit of hindsight looks like their “judgement” was sound whereas the company pr was at best misleading, or cynically exploited the naive trusting horde.
Lesson learned at great expense and a severely dented faith in the eventual return.

I salute their perspicacity - it makes my current 40% £35k paper loss look much better.
Forgive me if I'm not too delighted on their behalf.
That said, eventually ( again), those of us who believed snd held should see a profit, if we are still around.

And on the downside, however they managed it legally or not, they were able to make many millions as a single entity, while many thousands of LTH PI who believed ST2 would be a minimal equity deal that enhanced the sp and held their shares lost those millions, both in terms of shares and cash.
Maybe we are stupid, or naive, but it certainly doesn't feel as if our faith or trust were well placed and it does look like financial institutions, perhaps through better judgement, (but maybe through better connections?), were able to make a hefty profit at the PI's expense.

scotman - quite right, just being positive - hopefully more good news soon, although doubtless some hiccups along the way, but every day we get closer.
300,000 shares at a 5p divi ? That should give the kids a few bob in years to come ( fingers crossed - although I firmly believe we will get there).

No doubt reflecting changed positions after the OO - should result in one or two notifications ?
I presume Highbridge increase is a good ( hedging ) thing ?- but it still sticks in the craw.

with some good buys all the way from 350,00 up to 1,000,000 - over 5m shares in all and the sp is falling again, just like yesterday.
Quite a few small sells for 15. odd p ( why is it really worth it for fractions of a penny out of the OO, I doubt it ) but the totals are nowhere near the buys. So why is the sp falling ? Shorts seem to be reducing - may be the effect of extra shares in play. Our MCAP just went up £300m, construction funding looks secure ( at least unti; Sept ) whats not to like ?

to get a nice round number (290,000) overall ave 24.4 now, down from 25.750

jr I applied for the entitlement 11932 ISA shares and 229 outside ISA plus a few (less than 5000 so maybe ) to round up the numbers taking me to a grand total of 295,000. I got all the shares I asked for, entitlement plus about 40%.
Happy with that - seems to be reasonably consistent.

Have to say pleased its blue ( at last ) but disappointed to only hang on to 0.30 of the rise.
Felt sure those large buys at 16;00 would help redress the balance unless there are even larger late declared sales sirtiing out there.
As myo says more holding RNS' to follow maybe another blue day tomorrow and we might even get to keep most of it ?

I'll never get this share sussed.
Many more buys that sells apparently and lots of good news today so hoping for a strong finish.
