Underporming other funds and the index even taking into consideration the dividend. Why the poor NAV?
>> They probably said that about Enron and Lehman Bros at some point don't you think? <<
More of a retired stock market analyst than an accountant. I am satisfied as are the top 10 holders of The AA that there is sufficient headroom in FCF. What is unknown (and more bears should use this instead of quoting the debt levels that have remained there since IPO and 400p) is the headroom after refinancing in 2022. But equally, nobody can predict bond rates by then. For now its a Hold.
3.6p here but it is money I was prepared to gamble. Wish I hand not though! Great drugs in theory so not giving up all hope for doubling my money at 7.2p that would take the market cap from £2m to a valuation of something like £90m. Not impossible. Also not probable.
One thing I have learnt is that if a stock has an active forum already stay well away as we are too late.
Leader of militant South African mining union re-elected is negative. Any views?
Is the recent sell-off as a result of this?

From a video, at 129million it will be paid off in 18 months (a rate of 7million a month).
With towers it's unlikely anyone should short VOD hence the price to 150p.
mytton as I have mentioned the valuation is done by an independent company. The guy has been found out. His strategies post success is flawed. Find the gems is in his portfolio that have been shorted... Though he has recently hidden his holdings there are ways.
Mentioned I have been looking at this since IPO waiting for a buying opterunity. And right now it must be time to stop following this unless I short. I don't do short so I must walk away. Buying some more Lindsell Train on Tuesday, but if anyone is looking for a genuine reversal of a bomed out stock then possibly... possibly... then *risk* some money on The AA PLC to turn around and could provide 100 percent upside within 2 years... or not, nobody can predict with certainty but WPCT has even more pain to come.
The companys are valued "independently" fwiw

Guys my position is looking to buy since IPO but not tempted enough...yet.
Tobin - good luck and a brave move and I hope it pays of like buffet and the Bank of America. Switch off from these forums as they are all day traders. Don't add any more imho but give it like the of time. Instead buy lindsell Fund (not the trust) and VMVL. Join the forum Citywide Fund Insider.
It amazes me how people in these forums think they can predict the shaprice. The management could be replaced by the new buyer that could cause the shaprice to go up, but equally the bear case is true keeping you locked in for years. New management may wind the company down and pay back share holders over time representing some upside but over time.

forsight, just to clarify I did the calculation and today checked on my web portal and the market cap stands their today is at 1.7m - but you are saying that it will soon become 1m?
We can only speculate as to where the share price will go as we have no facts. The lower dividend may keep the share price a little more stable. Good to see no retrace and in my experience, this is usually a sign of a little more to come (pray emoticon here).
I presume the market cap is 1.7million. A valuation of 10m would need a shareprice of 1p. If so I need VAL to be valued £40m.
I don't usually average down by doubling but if I do I only need VAL to be valued at £15m.... I think!
Would 180p take out all the short stops?
The customer base is not comparable as VOD is more B2B in the UK. I wish Three the best of luck, infact I have switched to them from O2/GiffGaff. I have VOD broadband but again will switch. But as work goes we stay with VOD.
