The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Hi folks. Hope you're all safe and well.
Just looking back the SP hit 3.88p on 14/3/16 with 3.893b shares in issue and hit a market cap of £151m. Then on 12/6/17 hit 4.25p with 4.647b shares in issue making a market cap of £197m. If we hit £197m again that would mean a share price of 2.7p with the current shares in issue of 7.11b. Surely we could do better than that if we can prove recoverable oil AND we're still sat on the 1 - 2.6bbo shale play. In 2016-2017 we had nothing on the conventional side. Come on 88e, lets have it
With whats going off, lots of people will have already cashed in their investments and be sitting on cash. Could be the perfect storm if we're top of the risers board and lots of newbies piling in. If we get the right news of course.
rabito stick around pal. It's good to have an 'outsiders' view and as you say no reason why both companies can't be successful. .....also DW does say in last preso that on success he'd hope the market would be ~500m (doesn't say whether Aud,USD or GBP) when they look to CR next or words to that effect.
i was just about to post ....https://www.barchart.com/story/news/4470788/no-ice-wine-for-you-warm-winter-nixes-special-german-wine
@8.34 and as SS said in the last presentation 'The day after we picked up this acreage Dave was approached by one of the geologists who sat that well back in 91 who now works for hillcorp and he said "We'd like to do a deal with you because I sat there and I know what I saw" '
It should be for less than 90m shares so £1.1m ish if done at 1.25p. That is all that is left to place within the permission to place 10% of total shares agreed at last agm. It will be easy money for those buying, they will sell into Spud and make a tidy profit. If so shouldnt hold back SP for long
See here http://clients3.weblink.com.au/pdf/88E/02096405.pdf
so 10% of shares in issue back then would have been 627m shares and they placed 540m in September (at 0.7p) so 87m left over.
Old but good. Some may have not seen it before.

even a 137bn market cap company gets excited about a billion barrel find and little old 88e are drilling for one in less than 3 months time
' Additional regional 3D purchased during the quarter, with reprocessing/reinterpretation of legacy 3D seismic planned to assess further prospectivity in acreage.'
