Anyone see how many items are left to clear before the permit is issued? (I think the last count I saw was 5)
Current bid for Met coal is $291.....
All moving in the right direction
I believe the licence for that extends through 2024..... so assuming Pitoembieras progresses sharpish, they could likely use revenue to drill this nickel license.....
That does assume that we get a wriggle on .....
I hate that you have been right to be pessimistic on timescales before Andrew, however im hoping that the fact that whoever buys Bushranger, it will still be years before they get it into production..... So THEY cant really afford to be coy.
That said, Ill be a lot happier when the model update is released and we finally know what we are selling.
Is there a Sunday Roast - Ben this weekend?
I kinda agree Andrew, but we won't be spending money on the plant as it doesn't belong to us.
More likely we will put the effort into drilling and understanding that license.....
...... or provide funding to MMP for their plant expansion in return for a Royalty agreement ...... now that would be a confusing quarterly results spreadsheet....
I dont buy Colin's suggestion that the Chinese manipulated the lockdown to put a lid on inflation.... personally think that's a crazy suggestion.
But what is certain, China used some of their strategic reserves to take the heat out of the copper spike earlier this year (that exercise failed to do more than pause the price when it was rising), and now that the price has dropped back down to current levels there is evidence that they are buying more than their (current) demand.
If China are refilling these reserves at todays prices it tells you where they think the price is heading from here........ Up!

Thanks for this very comprehensive feedback Andy.
The couple of months for the model release is something Colin should go on record with. 2months on 2 months gets to be a long piece of string to follow.... and by the sounds of it they must have a good handle on how long the remaining model work will take.
Thanks again though..... the sun is out again.... at least in my head
An agm but we know some technical questions will be asked by shareholders.....
If a statement is made in the agm that provides new information to the market that would need to be RNSed.
Would much prefer that RNS to be ahead of the agm otherwise we are in the dark until we get feedback from attendees
Thanks Andy..... keeping it front and centre is spot on.
Btw.... there could also be an RNS out on the same day as the agm.... not unheard of...
And XTR seem to like the early afternoon releases too.
GLA and here's to there being lots to discuss tomorrow night
Might be an idea to repost Andys questions (I just tried and failed on my phone).
My guess is Colin will be reading the chatboards in the lead up to the agm.... and if he knows the questions ahead of time he will give a fuller answer.
They are good questions
Fast response to your enquiry then Kenny.
Good to hear they respond to relevant questions
I see the risk Kenny, and I think the imbalance of control was already there.... hence this cash raise was made now.... so close to extremely high value news .... at a 10% discount to current sp .... and not offerred to wider retail.....it was all for the benefit of those shareholders.... Best for he company would have been to wait a couple of months before raising.
I think that bargain buy was just the sweetener for those parties.
I hope I'm not being naive but I dont think it necessarily means they will work together to trounce small PIs.
The reasoning behind this is very sound. They need to get OPEX down in the long run when coal finally drops back towards historic levels. This will secure our investment in the longer term.
Timing is strange.... with the permit due any time and the mining equipment being set up to commission shortly afterwards. They could have done a wider retail placement in 2 months time and achieved a significantly higher price.
Hey ho..... it is AIM..... what do I know.
The first open pit technical presentation is also good.... overlays phase 1 drilling with historic holes and give a great scale of Racecourse alongside Ascot (which they hadn't yet found.... only surmised it's existance.

We could do with another one of these presentations to wet the appetite.
