To be fair.... just over 300k is ridiculously cheap for ORCP considering what must have gone in to producing the results stated in their RNS.... nobody can have made money from that sale..... unless they are hoping for/expecting multiple sp rises for the shares they received in payment.

So difficult to compare ..... maybe it was a stress deal.....for them

I wasn't calling you out for the name change, just interested .... especially as it is was so similar to the last one.
Not sure if im agreeing any more or less than usual with you. Fact is its November and the feasibility study was expected a time ago.... now if they want to coincide its release to a Sino update, then fine, but I feel this should be communicated.
If you want my wider opinion.... it is that we are very much hanging on this Sino review now..... so if it isnt positive it would be a long climb up.

I saw you mentioned debt before.... Best not to consider the drawdown as debt..... but dilution pure and simple. Very rare for a company in our position to actually pay such things..... dilution was always my expectation ..... which is why I was annoyed they took the second tranche so early.

I left this share after the Omnia alluvials Moz debacle... vowed to avoid Colin in the future.... but having sat on the sidelines since then I've seen that the alluvials have been delivered.... but over double the original timescale.... so the direction was right or at least truthful... and the alluvials needed to be moved to exploit the Hard Rock. If I look at all the other opportunities the company now has (im pretty sure when I last left it was Manica and alluvials only) its such a better proposition than it was then. So I reinvested (albeit a smaller amount).
My hope is that the dragged out timescales are due to a company having to work on a shoestring budget and that once we start getting the hardrock revenues timescales will start to be met.

Gixxers post is a reminder to me that, if im wrong, then I've been played 'again' by the convincing Yorke. But are you really expecting Hard Rock and that revenue not to happen?

Gixxer.... do us a favour and repost it every 3 months until Hard Rock happens .... keep my perspective.

BTW.... I was nowhere near the South American failure. I joined after it but I can understand why investors from that time would be another level of sceptical.

They need to keep us informed, but I was only 2 weeks ago that the last RNS came out..... I would like more but thats because imo they should be delivering on things.... the updated feasibility for example, is now overdue..... and for the mining licence.... I would like to know when there is a material change. So either it is being signed, or there is some information about the new minister sitting on things..... and I dont want second hand info from MLL, our application is a discreet entity, and information needs to be specific to it.

Come on... why even talk about raising the money from dilution? Unless you are only pulling a hypothetical case for cross reference.
Raises via shares is for when you cant borrow because you haven't demonstrated your project.... if we don't have a project do you think the sale price for shares would be 0.043?...
If we have what Bernard thinks (and most of us hope) then Sino will come back with sufficient surety and we will get funding.....
If they come back and say its rubbish, I'd like to see who would be buying the shares.... because they could have mine first

Remember FJ.... the gold exploration work to be carried out was according to BA 'inexpensive trenching' carried out by their team in country .... I have a niggling feeling the money isn't needed right now but has been exercised now to bring cheap shares into the market for someone's benefit.... remember he said inexpensive work to be done on gold. So if there is an opportunity or a sudden need for the actual cash, we should be made aware ...

Like you INI .... I still see a buck to be made....but it gets less with each of these 'opaque' decisions to raise more shares....

Sino have until the end of January..... and if they are translating any significant number of documents from then im going to predict they won't announce anything until their 6 months is up.

I see the translation statement as a positive though.
If they are just kicking the tyres there is no need for them to translate too much..... but if they are looking to support ITBs and help secure Funding raises from within China, then translation is a must. So they are obviously serious about this..... just hope they like what they see.

With news, we all fit in what is good and bad about each situation.... when the drawdown facility was announced only months ago, I was happy to know that Kodal had funding they could draw on when needed in the future (meaning next year sometime id hoped)... without the usual debates about how much is left..... how far away from running out..... when is the next raise....

Im still in ..... just a bit annoyed

Remember...... there was the same speculation before the various permits were rejected..... over the years this has been pumped with expectations of Slovenian government action..... that has almost always gone the opposite way to that which would benefit shareholders....
Just saying.... you dont even have pictures of a workout or commissioning flare this time.. only declaration that there are talks...... what if they only offer to reimburse the permit application fees......

This early drawdown of the second tranche of money only flashes warning signals to me. I understood the split....availability of cash to progress plus keeping something back to make sure Kodal don't run out of cash next year..... while the market starts to Improve.

Seems you've decided to spend the lot..... lost my backing with this im afraid. Not sure how you can sugar coat this second drawdown..... that should have been done with mining license in hand, updated DFS.... and Sino's findings........ so not until January..... then you would have offered some protection against EXISTING shareholders, who have helped you get to this stage.....

Your timing is for the benefit of someone..... but it isnt LTHs....

My understanding of what CB was talking about (re major cost items holding off until the borders opened) were big ticket construction items such as the tailings dam.... which we 'may' have been expecting news on soon. We already know the main plant items are fabricated.
Their subcontractor has already committed machinery to prepare the site.... thats what I took from the "parking lot" description.
If the Project Manager coming in from OZ is experienced then maybe this is all well planned...

South Africa Alert level has been down to 1 for a while now.... Mozambiques' guidelines are less prescriptive than SAs but look to allow entry with an approved visa..... so if willing I cant see any reason for construction not to start (unless the contractor is concerned about being caught on the second spike).
I hope they can update us on this shortly.

I doubt anything said will affect the shareprice today, but it will hopefully coil the spring a few more turns. When the news does drop there are more investors ready to dive in.

Maybe take a little time for the man to bed in to the job.... but i was hoping this announcement would be mildly beneficial to the sp .... at least stop the retrace
