Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
An agm but we know some technical questions will be asked by shareholders.....
If a statement is made in the agm that provides new information to the market that would need to be RNSed.
Would much prefer that RNS to be ahead of the agm otherwise we are in the dark until we get feedback from attendees
Thanks Andy..... keeping it front and centre is spot on.
Btw.... there could also be an RNS out on the same day as the agm.... not unheard of...
And XTR seem to like the early afternoon releases too.
GLA and here's to there being lots to discuss tomorrow night
Might be an idea to repost Andys questions (I just tried and failed on my phone).
My guess is Colin will be reading the chatboards in the lead up to the agm.... and if he knows the questions ahead of time he will give a fuller answer.
They are good questions
I see the risk Kenny, and I think the imbalance of control was already there.... hence this cash raise was made now.... so close to extremely high value news .... at a 10% discount to current sp .... and not offerred to wider retail.....it was all for the benefit of those shareholders.... Best for he company would have been to wait a couple of months before raising.
I think that bargain buy was just the sweetener for those parties.
I hope I'm not being naive but I dont think it necessarily means they will work together to trounce small PIs.
The reasoning behind this is very sound. They need to get OPEX down in the long run when coal finally drops back towards historic levels. This will secure our investment in the longer term.
Timing is strange.... with the permit due any time and the mining equipment being set up to commission shortly afterwards. They could have done a wider retail placement in 2 months time and achieved a significantly higher price.
Hey ho..... it is AIM..... what do I know.
The first open pit technical presentation is also good.... overlays phase 1 drilling with historic holes and give a great scale of Racecourse alongside Ascot (which they hadn't yet found.... only surmised it's existance.

We could do with another one of these presentations to wet the appetite.
Ok James, first technical session might be wrong but there has been a technical session taking us through the model with more than just the historic drills and recent (within weeks) assay results included.
And the comment made (apologies but this will be paraphrasing) was that as asssy results come in the modeller is adding them to the model and so this can be turned around quickly.
I understand the story has been spun a little on the model....however.
They can't hide from the fact that the first technical session on Racecourse included the model and assay results received only a couple of weeks earlier.
So, might need a bit more explanation this time if the model STILL isn't ready.
I think it's way more than 1MT... but concede it might be a good bit short of 2MT (for Racecourse alone).
Would I sell up? Of course not.... 1% value of 1MT at a copper price of $10,000/te is already 10p.... and I cant see us only achieving 1% value, nor only 1MT, plus we have Ascot to be JORC'd, plus other anomalies in the area to be investigated.
If it was only 1MT the impact for me would be a lowering of my slicing point only (and a renewed attempt at tempering Colins enthusiastic interviews when I hear them).

You should charge for that Life advice Steve4077... although wrt poker I take my own counsel.... after the night I pulled the top hand early in a game (true story)..... unable to contain my excitement and keep the smile off my face I tried to hide it by taking a drink from my beer..... which I then snorted down my nose....... uncontrollably.... everyone on the table looked at me and folded......
Poker isn't the game for me ...lol
