Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
At the front of this interview RR suggested a further capital starvation of the junior sector would reduce the +1200 companies down to a healthier 200 companies.
If he is right (and not withstanding the massive destruction in some peoples portfolios if it happened) XTR would be one of the 200.
We have significant income for the next few years and if we (with the mining contractor) invest some of that in a plant expansion then our income will extend 6 ... 7 or more years. So on the basis of that part of Rick's advice we should be happy to be here.
Whether the income gets turned into actual value added for us depends on Bushranger and the Zambian targets and how the money we put in the ground equates to success.
I think we were very close to a raise at the turn of the year. So I'm kinda heartened if they used a loan to bridge this squeaky a#@e period instead of dilution.
It's getting past time though for publishing the study results imo. Even if they show that we need a copper price at 10k..... at least then we will be able to see what we are aiming at
Or dilute with a raise.......
Can hardly believe we are only 6 to 8 weeks from first production of concentrates.
Hopefully this will give us a reason to raise a glass to Adriatic this New Year
Good research note.
Makes the project seem very straightforward, so lets hope it translates into a company that finally manages to keep to its suggested timescales for production.....
He posted a picture on twitter of a small drilling rig to "potter" around the concession...... but i suppose he could come back and say it was just an example of what would be used.....
Im guessing there will be an interview coming out, unless interviews/podcasts are all waiting for the "busy October" he said he was looking forward to.
Dear Brian,
Could you take leaf out of our investment in Blencowe and provide a brief update on the status of the scheduled test work. Would do wonders for the old morale....
Might even massage the shareprice a little.
Kind Regards
Id like the results of the study to be published before I resort to calling BR a turkey. I dont think its in doubt that it wont be the golden goose we were hoping for.
Seeing as this might be his Swan song, perhaps Colin was feathering his nest but my guess is that he believed he had been eagle eyed when the "Long Hole" returned good results along its length and he was sick as a parrot when it turned out to be a wild goose chase.
Personally im not going to sell up until all my ducks are in a row and the results of the study are published..... I believe these results will show us that BR will be saleable but at higher copper prices and importantly not as attractive as other opportunities that we (All) might have invested in over the period.
This might be one of those exceptions that prove the rule...... that a Bird in the hand is (Not always) better than 2 in the Bush(ranger).
ps. keep an eye out for those foxes in the Hen Coup....... apparently the filter better is better than chicken wire.
This is what I was hoping for. Great communication here.
Rough in my head calculation put it as only equivalent to around 5% of the existing share base, so dilution is fairly minimal.
I would like this followed up with a clear breakdown of where in fact they are going to put this money. I think we will get this as they are typically pretty clear in communications.
Wow.... .finally something this government has done that doesnt immediately make me want to facepalm.
Im guessing copper is the biggest in these metals and driven by the new plant being built at Hunterston..... bring it on.
I would say the numbers don't appear to be blowing the bl~@dy doors off ..... but maybe these are enough to make the difference needed?
We need the associated economics in order to say anything concrete about this RNS but what we could do with now is a confirmation that we have all the information reported to allow Optimal to complete their study.
.... oh yes and a concrete timescale for receiving the study.
The tantalising phrase "upcoming RNW maiden resource report".....
Would be good to know if this is in Q3 or Q4 this year..... f
