Ukraine has been a fully independent state since 1991 - 30+ years ago. In 2/3 of that time, Stalin and co built the USSR in the unit that was the leading actor in the defeat of Nazi Germany; in half that time, Hitler built a Germany that had a good shot at beating the world. So despite getting a big chunk of income for simply observing being Russian gas in transit to Europe, Ukraine was in no state to be the envy of Russia or almost anyone.
It is clear that a militarily non-aligned Ukraine could have continued its merry way to make itself something to be envied. It is quite likely that it could have joined the EU with a special arrangement to maintain this.
But no, big mouths in Washington and a few other capitals could refrain from rubbing Russia's nose in it so we all end up in the shyt. It's a huge miscalculation by Putin but the negative consequences will long lasting for all of us.
Btw, do I detect suggestions that EU membership is considered to be an aim worth fighting for? ;-)

I wasn't starting or intentionally intervening in an argument but I'm glad it provoked all that useful analysis.
I was interested in trying to find out if there is a more recent breakdown of all the stocks and % in his fund, than the end of the third quarter 21.
From the long list posted below, he is out of ATH (unfortunate, since it rose 75% in the next month!) and I think he is out of SU.
In his last interview, a week or so ago, he was predicting 100-160% gains for almost all his stocks so I was a bit surprised that you expect much less! I hope you're wrong because I've followed his Top Ten since end September and I'm hoping that the good run continues for another 12 months at least.
Unfortunately, I also followed him out of ATH :-(

As an acknowledged non-expert in oil and stocks, that sounds particularly stupid to me.
There is already a price on the stock; the question is what will/should the price be as we approach oil at the refinery, as evidenced by confirmed steps in the process.
The price after each of those confirmed steps/decisions will be higher than now and the discussion here is how high and how confident we should be in those steps being completed.
Your " wisdom" would suggest we should go home and wait for the RNS announcing "oil received and being processed" and then buy MATD.
