Citigroup have a price on TCG of 0p. TCG look like they could go under. Metro all day long re earlier post.

They threw me in last couple of days - had a chance to sneak out around five pound mark. Must have thought the issue was going to be properly problematic?
Re Hill - I suspect his mates would rather be in the 30 pound area than having to use hedge funds and five pound RIs.

Accelerated bookbuild is not such a leftfield move, surely?Shorters had to have anticipated this and yet didn't close. This is now beyond my limited intelligence , but I still may not be able to resist day trading If there are any opportunities towards the 500p mark. I've given up the idea of holding long term on this for the moment.

There have actually been quite a lot of opportunities to trade long, all be it with more cash than I would have liked, but have ended up trading to avoid holding for too long. It's truly mesmerising to watch the complete lack of crisis management with them. I listened to the conference call and Vernon reminding everyone to repeatedly refer to everyone as "fans" rather than concentrate on the real issues, was a highlight. When is the next capital raise after this one as well?

For the record, I have traded this long on and off since January, somehow avoiding a hiding.I'm on sidelines at moment. What really concerned me in recent days is shorts not even moving at 4.75 . I know they are in good positions, but i would have thought/hoped that was a good price for them to reduce a little.

Definitely, and someone has to go, you'd think, but simply can't see it being Hill. Donaldson having offered to go twice and presiding over this shambles, must be in line.

The lack of Metro Bank action to limit the reputational damage is incredibly frustrating to watch. The contagion that has been allowed to spread from funding to the customer and High Street is what concerns me.1.7 million personal accounts, or whatever the number is will probably be maintained - a large percentage of those probably have a tenner in to get their free gifts and take advantage of the decent service. I know the business outflows had slowed/reversed in April, but I suspect there is more money being moved out.
