Santa rally?

Great time to buy back in here, way oversold on expected trading news. New CEO in seat on 1 December will start recovery. Worth getting for the dividend.

Odd isn't it, news of a new office opening in the US should boost the share price.

Not sure why.

They should bring out a special wedding tonic for Harry and Meghan.

I agree, good company, good beer, good dividend, good price, so I just bought some at 114.9. Long term hold hopefully.

When I say double the price I am referring to price per 100 ml of the larger bottles, which is shown under the shelf price.

Now discounted to same price in Asda and Morrisons. Effectively a 20% discount, which is the same as what Schweppes offer on a 2 for 1 purchase. Fevertree is still over double the price of Schweppes, so I think discounting to boost sales in the Xmas period is sensible. Have to say I buy the Fevertree because it tastes so much nicer.

Any obvious explanation for the higher price paid?

Sainsbury's have cut price of Fevertree bottles from �1.70 to �1.35 in the run up to Xmas. They had sold out of my new favourite Clementine flavour, which goes well with Sloe gin.

Well I am sharing your pain with the Capita and GSK shares TLWilliams. I have held Capita shares for over 15 years, fortunately I did sell some before they plummeted. In the case of Capita, I do believe the company was badly managed for a few years. Hopefully the new CEO will shake things up. Brexit and austerity cuts have also affected Capital's market. I think the share must be at or very near bottom now, but it has fallen a long way from around 1280p.

Could be worse, you could be holding Carillion shares. I remember when Capita were over 1200p, how the mighty fall.

Look at Capita, their CEO fell on his sword due to a major decline in share price. Not sure why he got the job in the first place, was an internal promotion.

I think the new CEO starts on 1 December. No doubt he has some ideas but will take time to implement them.

I'd agree, and it will take a while to turn around a super tanker like gsk. I've had my fingers burned with Capita shares in the last couple of years. I think the story there has been a combination of poor leadership for quite a few years, and bad market conditions. However, like gsk, I do see Capita as leaders in their particular market.
