Good point Bandit. Results are very good and further growth around the world should mean good annual growth in the future. I think SP should rise on news, but this is a good share to hold for the long term IMO.

I've held shares in Capita for over 13 years and have seen the SP decline from a high of around 1300. I did well on the way up and lost a bit on the way down. I do think Capita are probably still market leaders on the white collar side of outsourcing, but I would say they have suffered from a tightening market and poor top and middle management for a few years now. They also have a habit of making acquisitions which don't work out. The top management has changed, so we must hope for better things. Some good news is needed, it's been a while....

Think it would be wise to wait for some sign of SP recovery before investing that amount. This SP has been in decline for 2 years. I bought in again Friday because I think the SP is undervalued and due for recovery soon.

All very positive and we have the trading update next week. G&T tonight to celebrate :)

Just checked and the last time SP was this low was 2004, then back in 1999. The company had grown massively since 2004, but the market for outsourcing has also changed.

Saw this on hl site: GlaxoSmithKline: Barclays upgrades to overweight with a target price of 1,650p. That should help :)

Up today, so probably back down tomorrow. Some good news is needed to stir things up.

Not much will happen until after the update on the 24th. I think it will be very positive.

I bought back in here at 385p, can't believe how cheap it is. Capita is a very different company to Carillion, white collar rather than blue collar, and they have a new management team in.

Last year it was Monday 23 January. May be 22 January this year, I guess.

Thanks Pearl, that's very helpful. I'm not here to ramp, but I had some positive vibes off a friend who has dealt with the company for many years. Sounds like they have been through some difficult times, but hopefully they have got a solution in place.
