When the COPL celebration party (finally...) takes place in Bolton for sure we will be raising a glass or two to Jay.

I am in the positive (but frustrated) camp still. The change at the top of Glencore clearly has resulted in a policy shift. This takes time to be implemented with these kinds of long term projects. Like many I guess, I am in at a way higher price nearly 10p. But I am going to stick it out till year end. If a deal (essentially 'any' deal) comes through the share price will go crazy - as we know. Having taken the pain I don't want to miss any gain.

Sad to report Hale that 3 children are left without a father, 2 of them under 10.

I didn’t post this in the trading week so as not to disturb the board. Some sad news for LTH who will remember active poster Jay12. It is with a heavy heart that I must report he passed away last week with severe lung complications caused by Covid. He was a naturally optimist & a positive person about everything from his investments to life. For him the cup was never half full but 90%+ full. That came across in his posts, some have on occasion dubbed him a ‘ramper’ - but he really wasn’t. He was heavily invested for the long term in a few stocks he believed in & backed them on the boards just as he backed them in person.

He determinedly fought a long hard battle against Covid for some 4 months in ICU to try & get home to his family, but tragically it wasn’t to be. He was a positive, optimistic, good natured, humorous, & loyal person trying to build a better future for his family. He will be missed & mourned by many, but of course its his family who feel the blow the most.

Who is going to be swayed by someone who can barely write elementary English & has virtually no understanding of the company & industry? It seems very bizarre, whatever they are paid its too much. Surely the actual potential shorters cant be this ignorant?

Excellent sleuthing Soup. Just shows that diligence & intelligence can positively affect the share price, in a way the usual ramping/de-ramping crowd can't.

My belief is once this was public they will release the latest test results for 004. If these are as positive as the rumours, then hopefully the market will see we are not a 'one horse' company but now have two potential blockbusters.

We clearly went above 'reasonable value' when we hit 14p but below 1p we are crazily undervalued. My hope is we will return to our re-listing price of 4p, at that level we can sensibly finance 2022 tests without suicidal dilution.

I am also a member of the 'dischuffed' club.

To continually fail to meet a stated deadline is like continually failing to show up for a pre-arranged meeting or appointment. Its elementary etiquette in most areas of life & yet they are seemingly oblivious to the effect it has on shareholders and the (for ever falling) share price.

That thought occurred to me as well. There is really little for a CEO to manage given we dont have a lab any longer, so its probably giving a business development director a bigger title. Which is fine by me, if it helps get him through the right doors. I want whoever plays this role to get a big juicy options package, compared to the dilution in the Lanstead deal it will be minute.

Great find Soup. This is vindication for us long-termer's that we have a genuine market beating fibrotic treatment in NXP002 - just when the world really needs one! The Japanese angle is also important, the market where tranilast is legally available, a co-crystal would surely get fast-tracked through the regulatory process. The Kissei deal needs resuscitating & Dan's role as per the RNS is very timely.

My hunch is they are sitting on good news on both 002 & 004 - we really need that news in the market & explaining in a positive fashion. the Lanstead deal makes sense at a 2p+ share price its not good at 0.90p.

HaleSpur agree about early stage venture capital companies being best run by founders with huge stakes - this was part of what initially attracted me back in winter 2017.

004 - are we awaiting a specific date before its tactically wise to release positive results?

Another advantage I recollect being told about the Kissei/Japan route for 002 was that it left the US & European rights available for deals after the drug had passed regulatory trials etc in Japan. The thought being of course we would get considerably more for those rights at that stage.

One final observation is that although the co-crystal model gives us anticipated accelerated regulatory approval, that may be largely dependent on the clinical data held by the original drug's patent holder, which may well not be 'public'. Thus the original patent holder could be in an advantageous position in negotiations re a co-crystal.

FX the point is DG was forced out by Blackwell, he didnt go voluntarily. The Blackwell period was sadly a black hole for shareholders, hopefully we are now getting back on track with both 002 & 004 ahead of where they were 2 years ago - in terms of studies & patents. Look its not perfect but its potentially progress towards a deal.

This is excellent news, we have someone with major skin in the game fighting to get deals. He has not sold down & the majority of his vast warrant holding has to be exercised before year end 2022 (many @ 4p).

Crucially he may be able to get Kissei back on stream, which likely remains our quickest way of getting a deal for NXP002. It also has the advantage of potentially fast-tracking it though the Japanese regulatory process based on their existing authorisation of Tranilast usage for asthma.

This is looking like a full scale invasion of Ukraine. As Soup & others noted, not a great time for positive news to emerge.

I am also optimistic that a positive new direction is coming. It is a positive that key insiders are giving themselves warrants, quite seriously I wish they had awarded themselves more. NXP002 seems to be in the exact right area - IPF/fibrosis - at the time the world is going to have a huge increase in cases. Surely that must prompt pharma interest/activity in any drug that is already in process?

NXP004 is my big hope for positive news, there has been a gradual increase in emphasis in RNS's until it seems to be 'co-starring' with NXP002. But we have had no real juicy data to back that up, hopefully its coming. Allenby's last, pretty grim, estimate of NFX's value was specifically based only on 002; if 004 is another potential blockbuster there are rational grounds for a commensurate leap in valuation. We really need the share price above 2p & preferably above 4p to benefit from the share subscription structure . I 'hope' that when they signed up for that deal they did so with the rational expectation that the share price would be moving up soon.

FFS, Soup others, sorry for late response I am in another time zone. In short I believe Blackwell had a personal dislike of DG & with Keegan's support pushed him out. We are never going to get a definitive answer on it in RNS's or interviews so its necessarily gathered from third parties. I dont actually see that a Chinese customer going bust was DT's fault & his share infraction was just that, something that could have been dealt with easily by other means. Whatever the whole ethos of the company was changed & we were left in a vacuum, there really was no alternative strategy until Anne began a more US oriented approach for 002 (which is significantly lengthier to market than the intended Japanese route via KIssei).
