Everyone seems to have made a bundle out of NXP001 except us.

God help us, we dont even get quality rampers. That 'ramp' barely last an afternoon.

The other possible short term deal would be if Dan can resuscitate (the rumoured) Kissei deal. Back in 2020 they were preparing to work with NXP002 on the basis of the the trials carried out up to that point. Given tranilast is approved in Japan there is a potential fast track to NXP002 approval relative to other markets.

Otherwise I agree that it would be strange for AR to sign up for a deal structure (that he clearly understands in practice as well as theory) that needs a significantly higher share price to make sense. Like others I suspect (hope) news is being delayed until a CEO/BDD/whatever is on board and then they announce our strategy & the latest 002 & 004 results.

Mulder came on board just after we had had two quite pronounced upward spikes. Any decent well orchestrated news release is potentially going to propel us significantly higher. A shorter or purchaser looking for a cheaper entry point is clearly nervous about that.

Trombone, I did that a couple of weeks ago, contacting one of the named contacts at the new PR company. I listed all the broken promises/delays, lack of clarity & effect this was having on the share price at a time they needed a rising not falling share price for the Lanstead scheme to work. Got a standard reply but I am sure a certain volume of complaints would eventually be brought to managements notice.

All good points Older. I am just hoping that Dan with the cross contacts and the financial interest can do something to get value out of NFX.

FFX I agree the 001 deal was stunningly bad, difficult to see how anybody could sign off on such a disaster. But I would hope - given Dans huge financial stake in NFX that he would get a better deal or potentially would vote against an 001 style disaster.

Mars they may want 004 & the shell, which would just leave us with the 002 IP to sell. Something like this might be the best return for current shareholders rather than yet more drift & dilution.

Also many of Dan's options (@4p exercise) will expire worthless in about 6+ months time, he personally needs to get something significant moving asap. With access to the potential players, plus personal financial motivation at last maybe something may happen.

Getting a listing via an RTO would also be appealing to next round Oxilio investors. It is very interesting that Dan who has already done one RTO for NFX is so entangled with Oxilio.

I think I now remember you posting those details of those first round investors a few months ago. Where they have an advantage is that they have deal momentum behind them, at least they are getting 'something' done - that kind of activity potentially opens up more avenues for subsequent financing rounds.

I think this could be an exit for us. Oxilio seem to be extremely pro-active in getting drugs towards the market & also seem to be able to tap funds. Frankly our record has been dismal on both counts, certainly for the last 2 years & arguably longer. Better to take 'a' bid from someone like Oxilio than stagger along from one dilution to the next with seemingly little progress. Maybe they could do an RTO & get a listing at the same time?

I believe we are waiting 3 main events results for 002 & 004, as well as the CEO. But do they need good 'actual' results to attract the right candidate. Given we have no labs & really only 2 products, a good candidate would presumably want confirmation of their quality & also that the cash is there if any further tests/trials are needed prior to approaching potential partners.

Coincidentally there is 1.5 million sitting on the bid side at 0.90p at the moment. Which is high.

And crucially the majority of DG & JH options expire later this year. If I were DG I would be trying to get the share price north of 4p. Of course its not just in his power but Kissei is a deal waiting to be resuscitated.

Sadly we have got a shorter/de-ramper infection at the moment, they want 'the oxygen of publicity' which is why its best not to respond to their messages. It strikes me as a panic reaction by the sharp upward increase in the share price we saw in mid Feb & then in the aftermath of Soup spotting the 004 patent. There is enormous potential investor demand awaiting 'a key event' and IMO we are on a lot of watch lists.

For me the issue with Brindley is - was she ever intending to take NFX seriously or was it just a stopgap whilst she waited for her former colleagues to nail down finance. Where was her juicy NFX options package on signing, she would have to be the worst biotech CEO negotiator on the planet not to have got 'some' options. But of course if you are only treading water, whats the point of an options package..... I will believe in the next CEO/BDD's good intentions if & only if they get a big helping of options.
