Can see thats been building up for a while Ploppylad. Nothing I would disagree with, but it will be the same in 12 months time just as it was the same 12 months ago. Best we can hope for is strong upward jump in the share price & people can decide whether they want to jump ship or hold their nose.

Tiburn, thanks as ever for your thoughts. Just over a week ago you mentioned potentially contacting Arthur regarding IR & 'comms'. I hope you have done so or shortly intend to do so, because at the moment we desperately an improvement & your concerns/ideas reflect those of many LTH's.

Great points as ever Tiburn & agree with all of them. If there is a calculated reason for downplaying the extremely positive results & detailing them further, it is likely driven by your final sentence. When Arthur is haggling with CUDA (& possibly CNOOC) he is unlikely to want to supply them with detailed optimistic info that would assist them in their push for a higher purchase price.

When the deals are done (or not) we definitely need to move into the modern world as far as IR is concerned, ironically we are paying not 1 but 2 IR companies to do this job.

Good links 99. I noticed Bloomberg focussed first on the effect on the aluminium market of the Guinea coup, but CNBC focussed first on iron ore & Simandou. This was noteworthy:

Its noteworthy that Tristan de Boysson is a major subscriber to the Oxilio raise. A managing partner in an international private equity company specialising in healthcare! Of all the opportunities he must come across he puts a chunk of his personal cash into Oxilio. It changes my perception of Oxilio quite a bit & also, of course, means he is aware of NFX & its portfolio. Feeling more optimistic about us finalising our Oxilio deal than I was this time last week.

Proof needed - especially when someone of your great (self perceived) monumental moral integrity makes such a false claim. Nothing could be further from the truth, my first NFX buys were in December 2017 & I have held consistently ever since.

Interesting change of direction. No Soup, I along with other shareholders have been treated appallingly in the last 18 months by successive BOD & management changes that have quite frankly not had the slightest concern for shareholder interests. That is accurately reflected in the share price performance.

You seem to have the relationship between shareholders & the BOD & management they pay, exactly the wrong way round. We pay them to make us money - they are not doing us a favour. Whats with all this 'beyond reproach' woke nonsense - so sorry vicar. They owe shareholders an apology for their collective betrayal of our interests not the other way round.

No Soup, you sadly do not understand the basics of company finance - company funds spent on salaries come from all shareholders including me & you. Company funds are owned by the shareholders - so any company expenditure is actually from assets owned by all shareholders, not just those from the last placing I have patiently & politely explained how this works, and you are refusing to accept the logic & reality of company finance. No I didn't but as an existing shareholder I was diluted down by the % of shares placed. Say they issued an additional 10% of new shares in the placing, IF I owned 1% before the placing I would own 0.9% after the placing. That is a direct cost to me & all other existing shareholders. Imagine if a bid came into the company valuing it at £1b, if I owned 1% I would receive £10m but if I am diluted down to 0.9% I only receive £9m. Very happy to explain the process Soup, surprised you need me to explain it. Money from the placing goes into company funds, which goes to meet future company expenditure. All the assets of the company, including the funds raised, belong to the shareholders in proportion to their shareholding. So when the company spends company funds it is of course spending shareholders money in proportion to their holding which will have been diluted via the placing.

Well Soup, they are not charity workers but are actually being paid with my money to work for shareholders benefit including mine. So yes I do expect people who are paid to do a job to do one, and that job includes providing shareholders with information a few times a year. The AGM is one such occasion & to not provide that promised Q&A information immediately is IMO a disgrace.

Filter. Those are my sentiments as well, this worthless scum that 'manages' our company cant even be fagged to put out some meaningless, deflecting Q&A cliches on time. This is what happens when the control of a company passes from a BOD that owns a huge stake in a company, to a bunch of worthless bureaucratic nobodies squirrelling away their BOD payments with seemingly no meaningful equity investment whatsoever.

Actually CEOs including Arthur do listen to investors points & arguments, but of course that doesn't mean they necessarily agree with them. I am in direct touch with Arthur & the senior management of other companies I am invested in, & send them both my opinion & those of others. Dont worry I wouldn't dream of sending them any of your valueless posts.

Devilbhoy wrong again & it is you who is totally detached from reality. The reality is that the arguments & points Tiburn expressed are those held not just by many LTH but also those typically held by institutional investors. Tiburn expressed his arguments succinctly & powerfully - so of course it is entirely realistic & rational to forward them to Arthur. Arthur receives many suggestions from shareholders that are nowhere near as coherent as those arguments put forward by Tiburn.

Devilbhoy you are the one who is detached from reality if you can't see the sense of Tiburn's post, which in just 2 hours has received 25 recommend's from board members.
