Deep. It’s far more complex than your arithmetic assessment . This deal is a unique one .
They clearly bought it to make money but have to sell parts to meet their payments. Disgraceful deal but there you go. There are real cretins in finance ; normally you buy with cash not buy with nothing and sell the assets to pay. Link just showed their arse as complete amoebas. It’s a confirmor deal - we can all do that .
But it’s a cumulative sell off of 3 companies or more ( anyone know of other victims?) . When they hit the payment figure, it’s likely they will stop esp as it’s a pharma fund shares they bought
And here, as I’ve said before, no one has a clue of what they are holding now. But we know it’s not much. They could be taken out in a flash , they may sell more DDDD or SNG to meet the payment or they could dump the rest of ORPH. ( but as they have sold the bulk, we are lucky. )
They have 10% holdings in the others. Who knows what their plan is. So it’s not as straight forward as an arithmetic calc of disposals of one share in their portfolio when there’s simultaneous disposals esp when you don’t the current holdings.
Lastly, the price they attributed to each co is irrelevant when they are flogging to meet a payment. You sell the easiest.
Buy the company not some spivvy Wonga flip deal.
