In all seriousness wouldn’t that have been great, hosting the AGM in VR. A big fat waste of time in terms of generating revenue but could have be an opportunity to showcase the live streaming and would have generated some publicity.

Facebook don’t owe us anything. You would wonder though if there was an nda with Facebook, the only thing it could have meant was to keep the launch date quiet. There doesn’t seem to be any signs of a partnership at this point. Maybe Facebook are developing their own offering. Maybe they wanted unfavourable terms...who knows.

It won’t be top notch because VR is only just beginning. The way I see it is the Oculus Go is the equivalent to a nes or mega drive. We’ll be at PS4 / xbox in a couple of years. Then it’ll be getting towards top notch. But it will keep developing. Contact lenses instead of headset, full body sensory immersion etc all at retail consumer price. We’re at the beginning here

Could be wrong but I’d imagine a live offering will be much more costly to produce aswell, and so you’d think they want all their ducks in a row ideally before this happens. Unless of course Facebook are stumping up some of the cost!

Can Fastbase legally potentially keep delaying this indefinitely? I can’t find any info on rr previous companies. Is this what happened previously?

Pretty sure Jess glynne was on there before. 1 act I did notice was different the other day from when I first looked at the app a few weeks ago (on the Go) was an artist I’d not heard of, but it was an exclusive specially recorded piece by the look of it. You could view the artist at every angle you looked at and he was dressed differently/doing different things. With regard to future revenue, I think these kind of pieces could really take off. They will be unique to VR music. I can imagine the crazed 1direction fans clambering over each other to pay for these type of offerings.

I’m with penny here. What is to stop another delay when the next deadline is here. Why have they left it until the last minute to communicate the delay. How do I get my Fastbase investment back!?

Are there any reasons given for the delay? I’m out of the country at the minute so I’ll be getting onto this when I’m back. Doesn’t look good though considering already concerns then Fastbase compound that with a delay. If they knew delay was coming why not update sooner?

I haven’t had any contact penny, no. It seemed too good to be true looking st it but I hope it all rolls out as he has communicated. If not then sounds like there are a few in the same position here to get their heads together for a solution.

It is an interesting theory. I agree with the comment about intentions of creating a company rather than running one. I know it’s funny to say after a few weeks of taking a battering but would anybody else be abit disappointed with a sell out of 50p? Also if you have such big potential, why would you want to restrict the upside so much? It is a risky share because of the unproven VR market, would want the upside to be abit more than 50p. Saying that it depends what sp you came in at I suppose.

My brother pointed this out richtips, the price being abit weighty in comparison to say a pay per view film. Subscription model is all the rave nowadays and a good route to go down imo for this product.. Maybe these high price points are setting up a value subscription option when more headsets / live events and back catalogue are available.
