MB I don't doubt you are basing the £300k on solid info. It just frustrates me that the company don't tell us this info, after being repeatedly made aware by shareholders over the years that the lack of ANY NUMBERS AT ALL is frustrating.

Just get the analyst note out FFS and stop faffing about with it.

With no numbers out in the market, they are not accountable for any financial performance against any targets. I've never known that with any company I've held previously.

MB - if you can quote £300k revenue from this BL event, then why can't they? Along with shipping costs, logistics etc and give some kind of indication of profitability. If they actually follow through on the quarterly operational update, will it include any numbers at all? Or will they continue to hide away and treat shareholders like mushrooms.

I think I'll be following Hughes very shortly as I just don't see any change here. Really disappointing to see this brokers note not appear in early Q1 as stated in the 5th Jan. Very poor start for the CFO and indicates more of the same, over promise under deliver coming up this year.

MB all of those pieces of news you mention, I don’t think one had any positive effect on the SP. In fact, the operational update caused at 10% decline if I recall. It has been said many times but the RNS’s are always lacking any numbers. The most important ingredient the market cares about

Hughes can’t say I blame you. Shareholders are bottom of this list here. Most shares give runs of good news where things look bright. No such luck here it seems. When was the last time we had solid positive news that resulted in the SP rising?

Suedee agree. For all the fanfare and build up to whether Formula E would go ahead and who knows how much resource (aka shareholder money) has gone into securing the event and here we are less than a month away and shareholders are none the wiser.

From the 5th Jan update - 'To support this RNS update, an Analyst Update will be provided in the early part of first quarter of 2023.'

This needs to arrive next week, otherwise new CFO has missed his first target.

It isn't like they were crystal balling too far into the future. All factors should be known and timeframes should not slip when you're making a statement on 5th Jan stating expectation of early Q1. If it arrives next week then ok but any later and not a great start.

Yes 100s of artists and them signing the monthly fee is for the physical shows I believe, not anything to do with digital, which they haven't really told us anything about yet (to my knowledge). This Ohmin collection is his digital NFT art collection and I was just speculating realistically what involvement StART would have in his digital collection and their profit share on any sales therefore likely being small because of that.

This scenario of shareholders trying to piece things together shouldn't be happening this many months ahead of the acquisition happening though, lets be honest. They managed to lay out a road map to the top 4 accountancy firm, when the valuation was verified. Good old mushroom shareholders, still in the dark months later.

It is the case that the original NFT owner/creator continues to make a % each time the NFT is sold. I am struggling though to see where StART fit into this on any significant scale. Ohnim is going to take the lions share of that £380. I can't see where StART fit into Ohnim's NFT collection. Maybe I am missing something. Perhaps they get a small commission for giving it exposure at the physical art shows?

On other NFT platforms such as OpenSea, you can see how well a collection is selling and also whether any have been 'flipped' or sold more than once. No such luck with this Konkrit platform it seems. Number of twitter followers for its page, along with Ohnim's twitter followers doesn't indicate masses of interest. It is a good idea though and I'm sure we'll see lots more of this, fans buying NFT's to give themselves exclusive access to things.

Most significant for me will be finding out how many KPOP dates are confirmed this year. Along with the brokers note. There have been no targets or expectations out in the market in how long? Unbelievable really.

And this puzzling gap in announcing the line up in Frankfurt also needs to be addressed. Something out of LVCG's control I imagine.

I would add, he cares to a point, as he gets a flea in the ear from bigger holders that he'll feel obliged to keep a line of comms with.

The Formula E - it is difficult to get excited about this, when you consider how little we know on the finances of the event, and we are just a month away from it taking place. Which is either a staggering lack of consideration for shareholders or a staggering lack of organisation and forward planning, and they don't know any figures at this late stage and are just bumbling through as best they can, hoping for a profit at the end of it all.

I don't think the CEO cares at all about what the SP is doing. If anything he and other insiders would surely prefer the SP to be at 'bargain' levels, as we have seen with staff taking shares instead of salary, and Jason Lee lining up £750k investment at 3p valuation. CEO can't sell his shares anyway, realistically, so the 24% only comes into play if / when the company is up for sale.

It seems likely to me that announcing the acts is something out of their control. There is lots in their control though that need attention.

Agree Knigel, separate social media accounts should be in place for each division. All divisions lend themselves really well to social media, being visual, and they are missing low hanging fruit by seemingly not having any strategy in place.

They have a captive audience and should be building on the 30k. I haven't followed the numbers but it was in the mid 20k's in May last year wasn't it? There should be regular, consistent interaction on the account. Basic stuff. They should be being creative with it. Giving away merch, running competitions, getting exclusive interviews or behind the scenes snippets of the bands, showcasing kpop art and directing these fans towards StART just 4 ideas of top of my head. I'm no social media expert but study what other great social media accounts are doing and copy their strategy. A wasted opportunity imo. Pay a specialist company if they don't have the resource and evaluate after 3 months whether it is providing a ROI. 'Drip drip' strategy sounds like it belongs down the toilet.

K.flex twitter account has gone quiet, no posts for 6 days. They announce 2 lesser known bands for Frankfurt then go quiet. Appears to be no social media strategy, just randomly muddling through.

I don't doubt they are busy but we have been starved of details for awhile now. It is a recurring theme and they need to recognise it needs some attention and resource. How many hours per month would it take to keep the market updated really? 3-4 hours work, between DC and 1 other employee?

No wonder the staff are taking up shares instead of salary, with all this news stacked up that isn't factored into the share price.

Yes good point on the Madrid RNS-R. What makes you think they have secured sponsorship btw?

I think main reason for the reaction to the Operational Update on Jan 5, was the 'we haven't secured sponsorship in 2022', which was a curious way to share this.

212 I think JL agreement is already in place (if he wants it) and even if SP is 10p, he can still take those 2 further tranches at 3p valuation. Staff did take their salary in shares.

We need an update on if he and Ranjit are taking up this consideration in StART aswell and if he's delaying it, then he needs to communicate that to the market, as that is another unknown detail shareholders are in the dark about, to add to the list.

Fair play to you MB and yes I think I will contact them aswell. Seriously though, what is going on when you have to do this? Something feels very much at odds with the natural order of a listed company usually wanting to release ‘full’ news and then even shining the news up, instead of what we have here which is them having to be cajoled into it and not really detailing the full picture, almost like they’re playing it down deliberately.

We assume StART news with formula E is not material aswell? There’s a good chance it isn’t I suppose. Is the rule if it is less than 10% of annual revenue then no duty to RNS it?

The Madrid event was only an RNS Reach, so again assume less than 10% revenue coming from that aswell?
