In terms of being taxed on selling or dividends, is it true that if you *cough* "gift" your shares to a relative then you pay nothing?

What im saying is they are a massive oil and gas company that has been around since 1980 odd, and still they only sitbat around 5gbp. I consider bp to be sucessful and profitable. So why would a fertilizer company reach 10gbp...?

Thanks Rypod, initially I was thinking about selling when it got to around 2 pounds, but to be honest, after listening to some approaches on this board, I think I might take the dividend route. I mean, if you can get 3k per quarter, that's like an extra grand per month to your wages spread over the year obviously.... but that's very dependant on the success of Sirius. BP oil and gas is only at 5 pounds and look at what a giant they are... so when people say things like Sirius COULD reach 10 pounds... you can imagine my scepticism....

In terms of future dividends... how many shares would a PI be required to own, to ensure he could receive 3k per quarter? Obviously this depends a lot on the SP, but just as an example BP shares are roughly 5gbp and if memory serves their dividend payment was about 30p??

On a side note, has anyone here made it big on a penny stock that defied all odds? Like if i think about some of the stocks i could have millions on such as viking therapeutics... if i followed my.gut i would literally be a millionaire.....

I wouldn't worry about the project "failing" the operation is massive, they're not just going to say "oh well we tried" leaving that massive site behind...… not to mention the financial backing from the likes of Gina.

I'm trying to hazard a guess as to a future 10 year sp... would anyone care to speculate.

Dont forget we are all early to the graphite party... by at least a decade. It is still in its infancy right now. The trick is getting the right company. But the issue you have is, big graphene companies might not be the best way. It could be that getting behind companies that use graphene infused products such as phones and tyre market might be the way.

Why should the day to day market noise matter? Production is not while 2020 odd....

There needs to be a press release. There needs to be communication with shareholders now!

I am so over a barrel on this stock right now. I cant believe it, i knew i should have dropped this stock weeks ago when the first big sell off came. Nothing i can do now except ride the storm or lose everything. Selling now just isnt an option....

The stock price itself is just a mythical number. Berkshire could do a giant stock split and get to $10 a share today, but it wouldn't be worth any more/less. Just focus on progress. Then we start throwing figures of '5 pounds' per share.
