Yeah you are spot on casual. This just goes to prove why you shouldn't become "emotionally attached" to your share. Particularly for those who are counting on this for retirement.

No of course not, but we have to be realistic, added to the fact how many of these posters are still going to be with us in 20 years? It sounds like a lot are, or hurtling towards, if not in retirement! So while I will be the first to "woop woop" naked around the garden in celebration if that miracle ever unfolded... i'm erring on the side of caution. The NPV is 2.60, the analysts suggest 2.60. I am buying as many shares as I need to reach my targets, so anything OVER that is a huge bonus.

I thought we'd moved past banding figures of £4.00- 5.00. Pure fantasy. As analysts have already stated, and the NPV of the company states £2.60, and that was BEFORE the cost increase, so actually it's less than £2.60. Set yourself realistic targets....

Thanks for that capro, really good insight. For me it is just the depressed share price and utter lack of any real growth. I dont think it has been over 2 pounds has it?

The more I think about that conveyer belt system... it's crazy how far it's predicted to travel. The overall cost involved to keep it as eco friendly as possible is both commendable and annoying.

Bp has been around 4/5 pounds per share for as long as i dare to remember. With that exception many years ago when it hit 6 pounds, my f.a suggested i sell at that point as we would never see 6 pounds again. Low and behold we didnt until recently. Long story short this has always been a great dividend stock.... but its unlikely that it will surpass 6 pounds... ever.

Could LLOYDS ever regain a SP anywhere close to other banks that are at £3-5? and a decent dividend price?

We already have Gina, surely we want to prevent more sticky fingers getting in and taking royalty streams and this, that and the other?

It would be nice to see some recognizable household names on the "major shareholders" list. I understand it's far too risky for institutional investors, but how reassuring would it be to see the names of banks such as Lloyds or RBS on there, or perhaps Berkshire? We can dream can't we!??

Are you seriously suggesting it isn't? Why do you think the stock market performs better when the tory government are in power. The stock market is for the rich, because you have to BE well off in the first place in order to make money. I've seen posts in the past that say something along the lines of "well I've just bought another 50ks worth today" The average working Joe cannot, generally speaking, afford to buy shares, particularly in well established companies.

Just about, if it climbed to a pound within the year, it would impossible for me as a working man to buy shares a thousand at a time. Unfortunately this stocks and shares lark is primarily aimed at Tories, yuck, however when I see something as impressive is this that is undoubtedly going places... it is worth a go.

If it doubles it doubles, it just means it's 400 quid for 1000 shares as opposed to 200, and then when it drops back down it puts you back in the red haha. Ah well, what will be will be. Just hope it doesn't climb too much!!! aaaah.
