read IMO. It spells out that they are on target for a smooth transition from Waitrose to MKS with greater variety plus the picture for non grocery is very positive as well. I think the markets must provide an upgrade for MKS between now and the end of September, when we will see it all working smoothly. JJ

zccax77, not convinced the stamp duty holiday will produce the goods; we are expecting 4m. unemployed. I have two relatives, in their thirties, with good degrees and they are expecting to lose their jobs. I hope it works but...………..JJ

Derfel, being objective is not being negative. Some on here say they have held from 600/500/400/300p levels "and are not selling" - you may see that as glass half full, whereas others may see that as stupid i.e. they could have sold and bought back at a lower level. My view is that this share may well drop below 100p again in the next month or two, when I will perhaps buy, I still hold some MTRO anyway. Don't get hoodwinked into believing the only way is up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JJ

Nice try Stew, however no momentum from what I am seeing. Be positive, but you will need to be very patient as I have been for 9 months with MTRO, no sign of a baby or a profit. JJ

Hi Neil, I have a vision where the MKS food hall stays with the rest of the store space becoming private housing or even say a Travelodge. It seems to me that MKS have got to innovate, and form new partnerships. Office space may be called for but not how we see it now. Pods where you can work and rest when needed but allowing you to go home to the country, coast etc. Nearly 30 years ago we had the tech for teleconferencing but people resisted it. Now with Zoom why drag yourself to the States? How fast can MKS move to change for the better. I've noticed flaws in the Amazon service where they say out of stock and don't know if it will be back. Many of us would rather support MKS rather than Amazon, perhaps MKS/OCDO will deliver books. Exciting times for those who get it right at the pace that customers value. Just as an aside I have postcards written 100 years ago when you could send a card the day you were due to travel and it would beat you to your destination because the mail made up to 4 deliveries a day, certainly in London, now that's service. JJ

Neil you make a good case, however I expect them to hang onto cash to facilitate the changes they are endeavouring to make. Their property director may even make a case for converting some of the property owned(not leased) into flats/office space to help the bottom line i.e. not give the profit to a property developer. Of course I could be talking rubbish. JJ
