With a steady fall in the value of sterling, if the deal goes through in dollars the sale price is rising owing to the exchange rate transaction so a win win; something good to come out of Brexit for all EUA holders. JJ
RE: And still no decision on a Brexit deal10 Dec 2020 09:57
Matlot, they have GONE as you say, they won't come back overnight, they have to be rebuilt, we have been let down by successive gov'ts . All the best to you. JJ
Wealth tax is an idea to explore but some people may have a house valued at £1m plus but with little in the way of income and no other investments so it could be a real worry for them. Forced to down size to pay a tax! At least I did not vote for this lot. This could be a tax which hits pensioners hard and these are believed to be Tory voters! Labour will be able to have great fun if this gov't pinches another of their ideas. JJ
This business is on the road to success and does not need Brexit. No decision on a deal, delayed until Sunday. 150p despite the Brexit gloom is a good possibility and later this week. JJ
Could the consolidation be more about the North American market? Over there it seems that they want their shares to be priced in pounds and not pennies. In my case I currently have a tiny investment here of 2500 shares where after consolidation I'm going to have 125 shares. The little boy in me would rather have more shares at a lower price, but really it makes no difference at all. Just hope the consolidation doesn't undermine the value of my or your investment. JJ
Gkerr, I promise that the share price will be above £1 after the consolidation goes through, but you could be poorer than you are now. I hope we will be richer. JJ
Being mischievous I rather hope the sale does not go ahead and instead we become an enormous producer, realizing the hidden wealth over time and so enjoy fantastic dividends. I predict a 3 RNS day. JJ
I invested a year ago in this stock having completed my own research. Having shown patience at the incompetence demonstrated by AP and his team we are shafted as small investors. The saving grace is that I knew the risks associated with any AIM stock. Can we make our views known as a group? JJ
Mr Matlot its wrong of you to refer to Thalidomide in the context of these vaccines for the virus which is impacting our society. The vaccines may not prove the panacea that some of us are hoping for but a look at the science shows its not going to have the terrible consequences of Thalidomide. It appears you have an agenda, but at least most of the people on this bb can see you are sometimes here for the glory rather than the substance. I wish you well along with every reader of this bb. JJ
Reading the posts on this thread I would conclude that its likely the share will drop by a small margin until we have some positive news, is that the consensus view??? JJ
Could Brexit impact timescales here?7 Dec 2020 14:58
I am wondering whether the date for our mega deal has been set for the New Year and could Brexit have anything to do with that? It could be I'm going barmy as 'not used to drinking so much rum as ordered by the Captain. JJ
