The trial has been postponed for the fourth time

The trial of "LICENSE" in Zuunbulag, Matad soum center, started at 10 am today in the Administrative Court, but was postponed for another 14 days at the request of Talin Jiguur LLC. This is the fourth time it has been postponed to June 9, 2020. Recall that the Talin Jiguur company owns the entire land in the center of Matad soum with a coal license A, in violation of Mongolia's Water Law, Constitution, and Land Law. Therefore, the citizens of Matad soum and the government have filed a lawsuit in the Capital City Administrative Court to revoke the license issued to Talin Jiguur company in violation of the law. To date, the trial has been postponed at the request of Talin Jiguur.

I have come to learn that nothing seems to be straight forward for Matd in the few years I've been a holder, I'm sticking around because hopefully sooner rather than later this company will turn itself around, like I've said and a few others so many times more patience is required, I'm fortunate I have plenty. Strange times never seen in my life time and hopefully not again, license RNS and other issues for progress could drop in anytime, just going to remain patient as none us are aware of what's going on in the background. China-Mongolia border port sees over 500 China-Europe freight trains
AKIPRESS.COM - A total of 537 China-Europe freight trains passed through the port of Erenhot in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as of April 23, Xinhua reports citing local customs.

The customs have adopted various measures to raise efficiency and ensure the safety and stability of the freight trains amid the fight against coronavirus epidemic, said Nie Weidong, an officer with the customs.

The customs also improved the customs clearance and other services relying on the internet and other platforms.

The Erenhot Port is the largest land port on the border between China and Mongolia. It has handled 379 China-Europe freight trains in the first quarter of this year, up 19.6 percent year on year. In order to prevent Covid-19 infection, the Dornod aimag's Special Commission decided to suspend oil transportation operations on January 30. Tomorrow, a working group headed by the Chairman of the State Special Commission U.Enkhtuvshin will work at Bayankhoshuu and Bichigt ports to start oil transportation operations. Petro China Daqing Tamsag has applied to the UOC to build decontamination points at these ports and start shipping operations.
As soon as anything else comes up I'm sure it will be posted. Sorry carnt be more specific. GLA.

Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Mongolia on 24 June 2020. We are only 9 weeks away from the start of the elections, "if they are not postponed until next year" which if they are could be of an enormous benefit to us, so I suppose it all comes down to whether or not this virus relinquish's it's grip on the world. It would be great to get the exploitation license beforehand and then Matd can set up plans and make some progress towards producing this year as I feel things may be a little delayed if it's not given to us this side of the elections, then worst case we really are looking at a wasted year. All in all what matters most we need this license, I feel once that's in the bag then SP can only go one way and we become a top producing oil company with an SP to match. I believe we have a lot to look forward to. GLA

Petro Matad has withdrawn its claim to annul the decree of the Governor of Dornod aimag
A company called Petro Matad has been operating in the 20th oil field in the 6th bagh of Matad soum, Dornod aimag, since last May without a land use permit. Therefore, aimags and soums have made legal demands, and civil society organizations have repeatedly fought to stop Petro Matad's illegal activities. Subsequently, the aimag and soum submitted two land acquisition notices. Petro Matad filed a lawsuit in the Dornod Aimag Court of First Instance against the Dornod Aimag Governor's Order No. A / 494 of October 7, 2019, demanding the annulment of the above action. A preliminary hearing was held on November 4, 2019, and the trial court ruled that Petro Matad's land acquisition order should not be revoked. Petro Matad then dropped the lawsuit in its entirety. Pursuant to Article 66.1 of the Law on Administrative Cases, the plaintiff withdrew his claim and the case was dismissed.

Would another couple of months make that much difference to your decision, as you say, you would only lose 2.5k if you sold, and it is only a loss if you do sell, personally I would wait to see how things develop and then re-evaluate the situation, set yourself a time limit and if nothing has materialised then decide, good luck to you whatever you decide. GLA

Further to the statement earlier today it has also been noted that the chairman of the committee PDPA KH Bolochuluun had been approached several times and not one single issue had been addressed let alone resolved, that's why the lawsuit has been filed. Gives a little more insight I suppose, food for thought. Hope this helps. GLA
