Governors of 9 soums of Dornod aimag have been approved

The soum CRHs formed as a result of the 2020 local elections have identified the names of 14 soum governors and submitted them to the aimag governors. In accordance with the relevant laws of Mongolia, these individuals are appointed by the IAAC as soum governors to review conflicts of interest. As of today, the first 9 soum governors have been confirmed. These include:

U.Gankhuyag as the Governor of Khulunbuir soum,

Khurelchuluun Kh., Governor of Bayandun soum

Governor of Choibalsan soum G.Turbold,

Governor of Bayantumen soum A.Enkhtuvshin,

D.Sukhsaikhan as the Governor of Bulgan soum,

U.Tseveensuren, Governor of Matad soum,

O.Purev-Ochir as the Governor of Kherlen soum

Khurel-Erdene, Governor of Khalkhgol ??soum,

B.Gantulga has been confirmed as the Governor of Sergelen soum. M.Badamsuren, the Governor of Dornod aimag, said that at a time when Mongolia is losing Kovid-19 infection internally and establishing a strict quarantine regime, we are aiming to appoint soum governors in accordance with the law and make them legally competent.

You may have missed the first £1+ in 2011 but I'm sure there will be another opportunity in time, don't know how long but first things first, need EL awarding along with funding arrangements and all other permits and a detailed work program so we can progress towards PM's transformation, hopefully as soon as the drilling season permits. So yes with everything in place then I don't see why not, of course only my opinion. Would be fantastic news if EL is awarded just before Xmas :-)) GLA

Not going to predict SP once license is awarded as my predictions have always been a tad out but I think we'll be in for one hell of an exciting few days possibly weeks (as people will be wanting to take there positions and the early profit takers have disappeared) knowing we already have the assets in the ground, but I'm hoping that the SP is a lot higher than what it is now because of the fund raise that is going to be needed, higher SP less dilution but I suppose we'll know soon enough. I too would be interested to know people's thoughts on SP after EL has been awarded and see if any are near to what I predict it will be :-)) GLA

Hay TigerByTheTail, good to see you are still around, probably a couple of years gone by since our rare earth days but I do still check up and post there occasionally as that was one of my first purchased stock along with BPC let's hope we do a lot better here if you are invested, personally I'm sticking around for results as my other oilli has a discovered asset, just waiting for the exploitation license on that but im really looking forward to a good outcome to the BPC journey, good luck to you and all here :-))

Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry

The Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry issued Order A / 272 on November 4, 2020, approving the Minerals and Petroleum Authority's strategy and restructuring program.

The Action Plan of the Government of Mongolia for 2020-2024 sets the goal of building an oil refinery based on domestic raw materials, and in this context, measures will be taken to intensify the exploration and exploitation of oil and non-conventional oil and increase reserves.

In order to ensure the effective implementation of these objectives and measures, the Government Resolution No. 105 of September 16, 2020 approved the strategy and restructuring of the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and decided to establish a new Petroleum Policy Department.

A new Petroleum Exploration Department has been established at the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority to coordinate oil sector policy and policy implementation, intensify exploration and increase reserves, ensure the sustainability of oil refinery raw materials supply, and increase resources. The strategic restructuring is different from the previous structure of the department.

Pepemartinez, once Exploitation license has been awarded to PM and depending on your exit price we will, this is just my opinion, we have the assets to progress. As mentioned by posters "it is a sleeping giant" PM will become a producer and explorer. Just need the license, So just waiting patiently. GLA

Heron development economics based on Block XIX parameters are good, 25MMbo (now 33MMbo), 62 production wells: NPV10 c.150MM dollars ROR 36%, self-sustaining early production possible with c.10-15MM dollars capex becoming cash positive in two years. So we can safely say that this year has almost been and gone. Hopefully EL announced sooner rather than later with all permits and funding sorted so we can make an early start on 2021's operational work program. GLA

I don't think we have to worry to much about block IV, it's block V that's the focus in the near future, Blocks IV and V

Following post well studies on Wild Horse 1 and recognising the short time remaining on the Block IV PSC without any clearly defined, high-graded drillable targets, the Company has proposed to the Government to relinquish the Block with a view to potential partnering and relicencing of its more prospective areas in the future. Valocirapter, Phoenix and Fox, they are the ones we want to be going for. But one step at a time. Again, the road to success is never easy. GLA

persistent, the notion of the govt putting Matd out of business came from hamm's post on Thursday 08.37 and for the record it isn't something I believe to be the case, and why I was stating that I don't believe that that would happen,and then you pretty much say what I had written regards the El and the time it's taking, so I think I can say we both seem to be near enough on the same page regards financing for the future of Matd, I also believe that there will be a small amount of shares issued along with a JV with PC or whoever it may be, hopefully not another Bergan style deal, I only put in about the excessive amount of shares on a 5mill raise as it was something petertee mentioned previously. Anyway GLA.

As Mongolia is 8 hours ahead of the UK and I know MB likes to run a tight ship "if" sorry "when" the EL is to be announced maybe some unusual purchasing of stock might just give us a little heads up as these last few weeks trading haven't exactly been great. I seriously doubt that the govt will try put Matd out of business, what kind of message would that put out to other prospective companies wanting to break in to Mongolia, as pointed out the other day a certain Canadian company seem to be doing really well in country. As I don't know anything about the politics of Mongolia and don't know how long it takes to set up a "Working Group" but I'm sure once all the t's are crossed and the i's are dotted Matd will make quick progress on Heron which will be next year now. As we know once the EL is granted then any finance will be swiftly sorted as I feel doing it before the granting of EL would dillute us to the tune of 250 mill more shares for 5 mill dollars at 2p and take us over 1 billion shares so better to raise at a higher price once EL is in hand as we have an asset to our credit. If no EL this year then yes a completely wasted year. So yes I'm still waiting patiently. GLA
