The initial orders were likely for the distributors to use in their marketing and selling activities. Any significant orders would have been RNS’ed. I thought their in-house sales team were going to be doing direct sales, sounds like they’re relying on the distributors to do all the marketing. No mention of a new covid POC sales recruit either.

NICE expert comments is not as positive as I was expecting. Worth reading through, one particular expert is concerned about the length of time the test takes to do in an already tight window of opportunity for using the antibiotics, and whether all NHS staff will be able to carry it out fast enough. Generally positive feedback but also several concerns.

I expect a market maker dip first thing tomorrow and then a lot of buying in anticipation of NICE advice (have to remember it’s not the guidance that is expected yet, but advice which will still be positive).

If there is a dip first thing it will be interesting to see if the mm’s actually let anyone buy anything before they raise it!

The only thing that people will care about tomorrow is positive NICE advice, as NHS sales will follow. The financials for last year are old news and irrelevant now.

Yes, the market makers are very quick to raise the ASK price when a buy goes through. NICE advice will propel the share price tomorrow.

The market will focus on and respond highly favourably to the NICE advice which is being published the same day as the financial results. Nobody's going to care about the figures, which are already known about. Things are moving forward swiftly.

And of course Covid is back in the news now, and the last time that happened the shareprice touched about 80p in December. The big news will most likely be AIHL NICE advice and an update on who is taking it up next... Liverpool NHS I hear.

Yes very difficult to buy at times, as soon as a couple of buys go through it goes to no quote available. Seems pressure building up again.

My guess is it's scheduled for 29th to mitigate or reduce any drop from the financials, which will be released 7am.

Just to clarify, the financials are released on Tuesday 29th and the NICE advice update is scheduled to be published on the 29th. The investor presentation is on Thursday 31st.

It will be interesting to hear how upbeat he is about the Covid POC test now. Clearly no major orders yet however they were only recently recruiting for this so I’m hoping to hear about who they’ve hired and how positive he is about the outlook… I don’t want to hear “remains challenging” lol.

Clarification about DoD after Wallbrook poured water over it a couple of days ago. I’m inclined to think Anna miss understood the question perhaps because I think DB said in the last update that they expect to hear about DoD in the next 18 months, so still plenty of time in that case.

I’d also like clarification about NICE advice and NICE guidance. Seems the advice is under development and coming on the 31st but does that result in “guidance” or does that take longer? Guidance should cause a huge rise I imagine.

Also an idea about how quickly they expect NHS units to take up AIHL. I read a tweet from somebody at Liverpool NHS which suggested there may be some resistance in bringing about change in the way things are done currently in hospitals (referring to AIHL) but he hopes Liverpool NHS will get the test.

Flat imo, I think many will be waiting to see what happens when the financials are released Tuesday. I expect there will be an update included on the current situation and the past few months.

...Because after that it's 35p+ again.

Smashed resistance at 26, next resistance around 29 from what I see. If we break through that we could be on to a great day or two here.

Yep, it’s in the air

Seems to be bouncing off the 8 day EMA on the daily chart, which is often the case after a big rise. It’s also the 61.8% retracement level.

Expecting some marketing posts from the PALOH Study today or tomorrow.

Share price is around the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level now, might see support building again and a good bounce.

I agree with Raffs, the company I work for has loads of people off with covid at the moment. If anyone has symptoms they are told to go home and get a PCR test.

If the company had Genedrive’s POC and tested those who have symptoms they would save a fortune in unnecessary days off work. POC is designed to test those with symptoms not mass testing everyone in the office, so it wouldn’t be too expensive at all… it would save them money.

Seems the presentation is co-ordinated for the same date, it's unlikely a coincidence imo. So perhaps they will have some exciting NHS guidance to talk about, and many months earlier than expected :)

When I think about the costs and sales for AIHL, I keep reminding myself that this test has been initiated and co-developed by the NHS, it's effectively their own product designed for themselves so there's no way that it will be too expensive for the NHS... that would be pretty silly!
