I heard Indian finance with Tirupati taking STGR equity because they know this will meet tranches 2 and 3 with Bass. They know that because it's their man Mr Poddar tasked with the engineering challenge of getting plant 1 up to Tranche 2 capacity. All makes sense really, if Shishr Poddar believes he can do the job - twice. But keep praying for your cheap placing shares to close that bloody short. About time, can't wait to see the back of you from this board.

JV still very much on, I checked with BOD after the last RNS didnt mention the JV. Claimed NOMAD forced the stralline for compliance reasons despite JV nearing completion. New era for Stratmin is about to take off IMO, and I'm normally classified as the most measured fanboy on here but things are ready. Mark my words here.

I read the AIM rules I didn't see anything about 6 months - that is the final window during suspension, I thought it was a year. I had a long conversation with Brett in spring about their advice, he didn't let on much but I'm very pleased to see a change in advisor, we might get some clarity. By my guess here if we're still in the graphite business with a non-diverse portfolio of assets rather than a single asset we should still be OK for an ordinary listing but WTFDIK. Also I'm assure the now very close co-operation between Tirupati and Stratmin means Tirupati would be open to concessions that help Stratmin, I'm told Tirupati have a long term view on this and see access to London important to their own expansion.

If you mean by move to next phase, then yes. London-based director focussed on finance (need to manage/leverage BSM holding effectively), new NOMAD, etc. One thing we won't be seeing is the Bass transaction money and NSR evaporating in board fees as the company works out what to do next. Stratmin will launch the new project, and the Bass stakeholding will become a profitable sideline bolstering the main work of the company. All personal opinion after deep research,, GLA.

Was told not - the only restriction is something niche, an undertaking to distribute the Bass shares to STGR owners should there be a hostile takeover of STGR, something like that anyway, I didn't pay too much attention but sounded like Bass didn't want someone to take over STGR to acquire control of BSM. But was assured STGR free to sell BSM shares on open market.

Well, you know what happened last time they pulled it back - RNS popped a day and a half later! Our miserable old friends are back populating this board telling us how crap everything is. I'm betting the real reason Stratmin struggles to hold gains is because shorters pull it back - then get on here to further destroy the sentiment. Well I'll still be here when they close. I expect new JV news soon. I expect tranche 2 news by Christmas. GLA

Old news - reasons for the asset sale date back 3 years or more. If you dont like the prospects now then suggest you dont invest, not rake over the same old ground. if youre aggrieved by mistakes of the past take it up with either of the 2 bEX CEOs

Haven't spoken to him about it, bar a passing mention when we put a list of suggestions to him in the early days of the deal, which included increasing it to 5% so we'd get it back quicker. But the bottom line is the company will exist for more than collecting the smelter royalty - we will (hopefully) have the JV mine and/or other ventures over time. Instead of looking at it as being eaten by overhead instead it will be income bolstering the balance sheet

Firstly IMO any rise for STGR is likely to be bumpy because of the past history - you have many investors substantially down at these levels, with various promises spanning 3 BODs so expect them to pack up and leave with a consolation prise at various SPs. But also as noted Twitter inidcates there's probably bottom feeders/p&D crews milking this too. Thirdly this is AIM, as I've learned through bitter experience first rule of AIM club is protect capital. Better to miss a rise than suffer a substantial loss. First task any AIM investor has is to stem their losses - second task is to look at turning that to profit. Lucky few jump in on a bagger but most suffer the pain. So because this is AIM there would be people taking profit at 2.25p - some like me would buy back at sub 2p because I have spent a lot of time communicating with the BOD and I believe they will get something more out of this, 3p then 5p are my targets. And we take profits the reinvest because been here before and we know how these shares move. From experience it's better to take cash because 90% of the time there are other bigger forces at play who seem to manage to bring a share back to square 1 after news. But that's not the end of the story IMO because the chart plots the peaks and troughs and you see a trendline. As I see it anyway - STGR has been a tough one, no lie. But it doesn't mean I don't still believe and the toughness is mostly due to some pretty tough shorters pulling it back last year because they knew it would need capital to fix the concentrator, which was ******ed from the initial design as I understand it. And these bent b*stards with their de-rampers and crew-like mentality made it pretty much impossible for STGR to raise money off it's own mcap on this market to fix the mine. They tried the initial Bass deal and Bass screwed us - they wanted the whole mine. But we're still in the game - fight another day IMO

Astonishing? Honestly GH if you read my posts you'll know I regret not selling on the fall sub 3p, regret not selling last time it hit over 2.25p, etc. So to be astonished at the fact that I suggested it might be worth playing the swings as if I'm somehow at odds with the rest of the LTHs here is over egging the pudding a tad as far as I'm concerned. After all I still hold my shares, therefore I think it's worth holding on to at these prices. Otherwise I would have dumped. I made a call on the swing, thought it would fall back and it did. Didn't trade a great % of my holding but if it didn't fall back then I would have missed part of the subsequent rise. I do still think 3p is on the cards once the JV is agreed so there's no duplicity here - it's just about whether one chooses to pit oneself against the day traders and MM in an attempt to improve returns or sit back and hold

There's more than one game being played here... the MM with their 18% drop less than 48 hours before the RNS drops... The short term P&D crew, and the patient LTHs - even some LTS mayl have sold a few over 2.25p - if you can't beat 'em, helps to play the game that everyone else is playing - but LTHs now likely buying back under 2p, still holding but with a nice 10% earner on one's holding. Now can't buy for toffee and live bid is 1.925p - which way you think it's going in the next hour GH?

Indeed - the working capital adjustment is a PITA, because the deal took longer to complete there was more drag on the cashflow at the mine. I came on here and read it as I saw it, turned out to be a perfect read - do you honestly think I wouldn't have averaged down on that shake when (a) I have faith in this BOD with New Era Stratmin and (b) I was convinced it was a shake. No way on earth I can fight this, so you continue to post what you want GH - nice having you around, this time last year we had blue too.

I have it marked down as optimism, a word not often heard between AIM investors, but apparently the BOD often suffer from this. Someone tells them it will be sorted in 12 days and they think, yeah, great, let's tell the market! Market on the other hand thinks only about the bird in the hand, not that the bush trap is rigged and ready to catch 2. Cash in bank. Deals done. Audited results.

According to week last Friday's RNS, "Initiation of funding is expected within the next 12 days" Though as much as I will defend this BOD against some unfair criticism their ability to meet deadlines and let things drag on is one thing I can't question...! The MM however seemed to manage an 18% shake yesterday, I almost bought some, the tell-tale lower buy limits (currently 250k shares) and walking the price down on each buy made me think they were just fishing for stops and cheap shares. I bet the 2x100k "sells" this morning are just circular money to prime the dump that followed... So maybe it will be tomorrow. I'm in 2 minds whether to average down or see how it plays
