I hope that going forward FV will have learnt lessons to ensure the second securitisation is completed quicker, as they will now have gained valuable experience from the first one.

I think £200 million significantly undervalues Paraytec if we have a successful test.

Ncyt have a market cap of around £520 million, which shows what is possible and the potential here. All the best

Although many are quite rightly very interested in the news regarding a rapid COVID-19 test (which potentially is a company maker on it's own) BRH is not just a one trick pony. There are multiple investments each with significant money making/generating potential.

The annual report on MAFL’s website details all this and the given valuations. Lots of reading but very comprehensive.

The details were key to showing the progress made. Instead there is nothing specific just generalities. The expectations were ‘modest’ which doesn’t imply the instant cash generator many were expecting. Investors want numbers, not waffle.
The China news is excellent though.

I believe we are in a much stronger position having sold our entire stake in RMS. Cash is king and the current climate will hopefully present some outstanding further investment opportunities for BRH.
Maybe the market hasn’t digested the fact that we no longer hold RMS (we still seem to be affected by associated volatility). Also no account is taken that out cash in the bank exceeds our market value. However, a rerate and realisation of this will happen and people will be scrambling to get in here (at a much higher price) when it does.
We have a lot of news in the pipeline. The key is waiting patiently, which has been the downfall of many investors.
My exit point is considerable multiples of where we are now and I won’t contemplate selling before then.

The market reaction has been disappointing but once the news gets out properly and more details are released I believe this will fly. Compared to other Covid stocks it’s very very undervalued.
It’s also important to ignore the share price as the market capital is more important.
£5 per share is £175 million market cap
£10 per share £350 million
Many peers are trading between 200-450 million market cap.
The potential is huge.

Interesting that 7.5 million share warrants have been exercised at a 72% premium to the current price!

I have also been thinking ahead to IF the proof of concept test works. What potential valuation would this give BRH? And who would likely buy us out (I can’t see is going alone on this)? Clearly everything hinges on successful completion of POC then manufacturing and marketing the product, although I’m sure many companies are already keeping a watching brief on this. Speed of manufacture (and quantity) are essential. Interested to know peoples thoughts.
I hold a small position here, average 23p.

The update today was welcome and clearly a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes but I was underwhelmed with the numbers released. I appreciate it takes time to grow the business but the additional 25 new users from the 30 announced previously is very disappointing. Even if all 55 users were paying the monthly content service of £30 then the annual revenue is under £20k. This has a long way to go and the company needs to grow the users by hundreds each month to justify the current market cap.
I agree with the other posters that this remains one for the bottom drawer. My average is 0.39p and I don’t see us reaching that level without revenue figures and significant sustained growth of new subscriptions. This has promised so much and the delivery to date has been disappointing.
I really hope that in time MOS will live up to the expectations and their 20 years experience in this sector will serve them well.

Three large buys from yesterday have appeared, none of which is punt money.
As has already been commented today the free float now must be smaller and the risk reward ratio presents an exciting opportunity when you look at the ridiculous rises of junk stocks over the last few weeks, many on no news.

The difference is compared to a lot of the trash stocks that have risen on no news, this rise is based on tangible news today. This feels like it will be a good week to be a holder and it would be great to consolidate today’s gains during the week. I also don’t think we’ve seen the market realise what a whopper this share could be.

A market cap of £10 million, including the new shares to be issued equate to 3.46p per share.
I don’t know what a reasonable market cap would be for the company now but the upside appears to be very significant.

Seems like a great RNS with massive upside potential.

The Whetstone website has been updated.
No reference to britdaq anymore or how shareholders can trade.
Also Guildford Street Capital is no longer listed as a significant shareholder but the two directors hold 2 million and 2.5 million shares respectively.
Another area of note is in the Returns to Shareholders section:
“Given the nature of the investment policy, the Company does not intend to make additional regular periodic disclosures or calculations of net asset value.”
So if we were hoping for more (!) communication it doesn’t look likely.

Sounds like a steal. Great buy.
