As a Centrica holder for many a moon, I am mindful of their ownership /involvement 65% of Spirit Energy.

I have to admit I have not sufficiently researched Spirit's financial position, but I would imagine the HUR have done their due diligence and would not consider them a Risk????.

The sad fact is that Centrica are on a downward spiral SP wise , and have been for some time. The issue for me is that the CEO has taken a 44% pay rise I have read, and that is worrying in itself.

To me that does not send a sufficiently positive enough signal.

Oil prices seesawed at the start of the week, falling initially on Monday after President Trump reignited the trade war, only to rebound on fears of rising U.S.-Iran tensions. Oil dropped sharply again in early trading on Tuesday, following news that Saudi Arabia would send more oil to Asia.

Yes I watched it, very interesting documentary.

Now then, 1 Pilot, 1 Navigator, very high risk indeed, should the pilot be taken out. The most poignant point to come across in the documentary was the very fact that the average of flight crews was only 22!!

Agree, but if you look at the London Stock Exchange website , usually, all trades are reported in both size and timing etc.

I have found that sites like Capita for example,

have not included trades, ie my own specifically, when over a certain size, at the time that they were executed but were shown correctly on the London stock exchange site.

My larger trades would appear much later on on Capita , rather odd.

Maybe something to do with the fact many are classed as 'Over The Counter' or the fact that because the price paid may be a few points over smaller trades and does not fit in with the smaller trades etc, if you understand what I mean.

ie, Folk watch the trades , we have all seen 'Late Posted Trades' that actually took place hours earlier.

Totally agree, in fact it isn't worth the effort imo, I actually think based upon previous experience, that an opportunity will arise to buy below the open offer price, sure it happened with the first placing, I think from memory..

Why, what makes you think that?

I bought in at £5.37 so am not best pleased so far but that is my error.

The only saving grace as far as I can see is that Neil Woodward is pumping money into this share because he wants a management change etc and so that may well push the SP upwards hopefully.

Having said that, many years ago I worked on a contract involving Kier back in about 2000 and they were very good, extremely astute and got the job done apart from all the extras they billed us for.

What has changed?, is it PFI that has led to where we are today?

First time I looked it was £6.67, next time I looked it was £6.30, so at the moment it's going the opposite of what you are saying. :O)
