Bonkers pricing at a negative price, the nearest analogy I can think of, are negative interest rates where the banks charge you a fee for keeping hold of your money.

Maybe that's what this really means, the cost of storage is far outstripping the value of the oil produced?

I was offered an Agricultural Degree place at Bangor Uni, but didn't take up the offer. That was in the days of 'Uni Clearing' can't recall what it was called then in 1980.

Thinking back, it would have been a more satisfying role, but.....you would have to have to been able to purchase yout own farm, plus as I later learned and is the case today, Farmers are amongst one of the highest group within our society that are sadly committing suicide because of the financial pressures that they now find themselves under.

That is a very interesting concept, one that has been raised on many discussions with my friends.

One is why is that we see countries like China et al, but not the UK, cleaning pavements and buildings?, it's not as if we are going to touch the pavements is it, but door handles fair enough.

As for how long can the virus remain active on a surface?, the views I have read vary from 3 to 9 days.

I don't know about you AK, but I am now cleaning down supermarket shopping before storing them away in cupboards and freezer/fridges.

Why? because you don't know whom has stacked them or if they are infected.

Basic rule of thumb is to use a lightly soaped sponge, soap breaks down the outer cell membrane of the CV19 virus rendering it useless so I have learned.

So just dunk you bottles of Red and Cans in soapy water, wipe all else and leave for a few days before consuming.

We shall now shortly be arriving at the Mad Max Terminal, will all passengers please wipe down their groceries before disembarking :O)
