Excellent documentary, one fact that I had not thought about until now, nor even realised, is the doubling of the worlds population since 1970. Increased population density, scale of deforestation over the last decade bringing humans closer to animal populations thus increasing the risk of animal/human cross virus contamination.

The issue is, can affirmer technology be the only solution to thwart this growing threat, and be sufficiently developed faster than the time required to create and test a succesful vaccine?

CV19 is not going to dissapear overnight and given that the Lateral Flow Diagnostic market is very substantial indeed, IMHO Avacta are now in a very fortunate position despite up and coming competitors simply because the market is huge, plus the management of Avacta are very astute, so chill out and take a backseat and watch the company grow.
