Not a long termer here as you obviously are..but my sympathies...have lost and gained on these aim oilers over the years and it is a royal pain... stop losses are a good idea.

According to LSE....the big trades are sells and sells outweigh buys by around 4 to 1. Bit of an anomoly that the SP appears to be on the rise.
I know that LSE is pretty unreliable. Anybody got a take on this?

You seem to be missing the point about a pipeline to Corrib. Just because larger and longer pipelines have been constructed does not mean that a line from SP to Corrib is a viable proposition. The pipelines you have been quoting are built to transport much greater volumes than exist at SP. So while they are economic, SP is a relatively small resource, and it would be better to look at a landfall in the south of the country or possibly some type of FPSO if possible.

That seems like a pretty fair assessment all right. Not sure if any satellite pockets of gas exist in the area that can be linked in as a kind of hub and spoke scenario. The area has been explored extensively in the past with lots of drills done with varying levels of success / failure. That area to the north of Barryroe, which Lansdown surrendered a few years ago might yield some further gas or oil?

Amazed to see this old dog showing a modest gain today when RDSB is down about 6.7 %. Hope springs eternal in the human heart!
