I know what the strategy is. Thanks. Question was if there may be an unwanted TO given the low MC compared to potential value of reserves. Don't have an opinion on this meself. Either outcome is OK by me. Either keep the shares in the bottom drawer unyil 2021 for potential multibagger or get a quick 100% return.

Yeah...I think this is a very good one for medium to long term. Not the best in terms of the dividend it must be said. Still, wouldn't mind a few in the bottom drawer, but invested all me spare cash in RDSB. Maybe get some of these next month.

Anybody out there think ECO could be a potential take over target for one of the big players in the region at the present time? Just speculating that at this low SP it might be a good opportunity to make an opportunistic bid given the hiatus in O&G activity.

I think you have made a very good long term investment and I would look at RDSB and GSK as well to balance things out. These are very solid and well run companies that have been getting things right for a very long time. I bought a few more RDSB over the last couple of days and I'm mulling over whether to add a few BP. and GSK as well. Very attractive price point for all 3 of them. Even worth considering buying some to hold and top slicing a few for a quick capial gain once the SP recovers? ATB and good luck

Tempted to buy a few but hanging fire in hope of picking up a lower entry point. Pretty confident in long term prospects here and Guyana as a whole.

I agree with that 110% poker. It was a decent way of making a bit of money even 10 years ago. Not so good today.
Too many people just cash out when they are showing a modest profit (for reasons of fear of losing)... so SP's don't
really progress that much.
Also the BOTs and stupid rampers /derampers. Tis a pain in the arras!

Hefty old rebound here so far today and glad I added a few. BP looking even better. Interesting to see closing price though more focused on this as a long termer to bump up me pension income.

That was a rather condescending remark about the gentlemans holiday budget of 1300 quid. He might be a pensioner or somebody working in a vital public service who is not earning top dollar.
At any road 1300 is enough to pay for 2 business class returns to Malaga and a fortnight in a decent 4 star hotel. We're not all loaded here y'know, even if you are...you don't need to flaunt it by putting others down as it just displays that at heart you are a crass ignorant pleb.

Encouraging to see the directors en masse electing to take their dividends and reinvest them as per todays and yesterdays RNS.

Buy the B shares only if u are a UK resident because the A shares get subject to Dutch tax deducted at source, so unless you want to pay an accountant to do a Dutch tax return they are not for you.
