Just read Mookys deadline interview again, and the more I read it, the more confident I am in the future.
I forgot that Cineworld has actually expanded during covid, opening new cinemas in the US.
Mooky says the fourth quarter will be when things really start picking up, ( my only real concern is restrictions being reimposed by our u turn goverment prior to the Bond release), he feels that the future is in theatre and eventually there will be exclusivity windows.
Also he is certain given POVD that it is possible to create first class HD copies for piracy, so I see that as an issue for Disney. Also he points out that 60 million dollars for black widow is compared to just US figures, whereas it should be compared globally.
And finally I feel he's right in what he says, when there is a good supply of movies being released again, then things will also pick up again.
Just my analysis of things.

My real concern is that given the goverments ability to u turn with very little notice, that they reimpose some sort of restrictions a few weeks before the release of Bond.
The only reasons for yesterday's reversal could have been Mookys interview or shorts closing which will find out on Monday, market sentiment is still poor, the Dow tanked towards the end of yesterday, so hoping we're not taken back again next week.

He just said on the news" we could get into trouble again surprisingly fast"
And sky news really emphasising 50 k cases, only 49 deaths , but they dramatise every bit of bad news to such an extent it causes fear and scaremongering.
This feels like when Boris said the Wednesday before Xmas " it woukd be inhumane to cancel xmas"
2 days later he cancels Xmas.
This is the problem, scaremongering, scientists being extra cautious, Boris chopping and changing, and what does that create, uncertainty .

Don't understand the rationale for this dropping like this, shorters reduced, iag, rr, tui all up??

This does not seem to be getting any support now, quite surprised really given the fundamentals of the business, its liquidity, its improved performance earlier this year even with tight restrictions.
I am sure remembering much earlier in the year when NEX announced it was suspending all services just at the last peak, the shares rose on that.
Possibly this share makes its gains towards the end and start of each year.

Bunch of deluded children, this why ramping on childish dreams, making completed unsubstantiated statements, gets new people caught up in the hype, they then go all in, and lose a shed load.
This may end up 2-3% up today, may end red, who knows???

Maybe some but certainly not me.
I want this to go up as much as most on here, and I. Not selling 1 of my 160k shares, as painful as it is right now.
If you look back at some of my posts I've even suggested everyone setting limit sell orders on their shares so they can't be loaned out or seen as available to shorters.

I'm aware of that, I feel I have a right to be cautious and concerned when I am so heavily in the red, and ask questions that chart guys would know more than me.

The only thing I can of is the algos picked up Mookys deadline story, it's just baffling.

Yeah that bit was interesting.
The only thing I'd say is that was released at 1pm I think they're time, and did nothing for the US sp, but maybe they follow our lead on this one.

I thought that crash was caused by sub prime irresponsible lending , since when most lenders have tightened their stress level thresholds.

So that was published after close in the UK today, and didn't fill me with dread that something ominous is lurking.

It's part of Americans culture, people will always go movies on dates, kids will always want to go and see on the big screen, cine has 31 day exclusivity period deal with Warner bros, companies do find ways of modifying to save costs, cinema is part of societal, cultural and global environments.
Yeah everyone has Netflix, Amazon prime etc, it's like having an app on your phone, and yeah black widow is on Disney +, but only certain release will available to stream immediately.
Vodafone has enormous debt, and a lot more completion than cineworld.
