Yeah a bit strange, making me a bit nervous about results tomorrow.

Nasdaq getting a pounding so may be bad whatever the results

Dragged down by the US, cant seem to stay above 67

So frustrating, my 510 break even seems a long way off, no funds to top up as its stuck in my isa so can't buy at these levels. Peed right off about this one.

Dow futures and ftse trading lower pre market despite our falling cases, Hang seng down, so wouldn't be surprised if there's another sell off today.

Currently for the last week infections have been falling and it was good to see the papers report this for once, rather than sky news that focus on everything negative and are constantly scaremongering.
This could be a false reading though, because after all it's only been a week since freedom day, so infections could start rising again.
I feel a lot depends on the next 2 weeks really when it will be clearer whether the modellers worst case scenarios start bearing out.

Also I remember clearly the Wednesday before Xmas when the PM said " it would be inhumane to cancel Xmas now"
And what did he do 2 days later, we all know he u turned 48 hours later.

Or is it a covid squeeze on the daily figures manipulated by shorters!

It's the inevitable rise in interest rates, therefore increasing future interest payments on debt , whether it be cine or any other company, which would therefore eat into future profits, should we be so lucky again!

Just trying to establish what happened around 11.30 today which caused some of the stocks that were ticking along nicely to retrace.
And debt is relevant which means companies with high debt are very sensitive markets wise to inflation announcements and interest rate guidance.

Could be companies with heavy debt specific!

A fair few of mine have turned, including the ftse, maybe to do with ECB announcement, not CINE specific, and def wasn't a short squeeze.

What's happening here, more sells than buys, is finally a squeeze?

You only want cine to go bust so you can buy back the shares you already sold which are now showing as a loss, for 1p.
