Another bad day for travel and leisure15 Jul 2021 10:02
Seems that travel and leisure stocks in particular are again at the top of the ftse 250 fallers board.
3-4% drops all round, even BP is sub 300 again.
The markets are clearly very uncertain about the way out of covid, possible future lockdowns, etc etc, partially due to goverments messaging, and it just looks like there are 5 or 6 bad days to every one good day.
As said last night, I'm 10s of thousands in the red since beginning July, and paper losses are increasing by thousands every day. Been averaging down too quick because expected some kind of freedom day bounce and now no more powder to use.
So I've got no choice but to sit with this daily pain, it's almost got to the point now where 1 or 2 good days won't even make that much difference, so I've got acceptance that it will be a process for things to start improving again.
Hopefully we won't see the lows of 2020 again, but things may get worse before they improve.
This is just my subjective view of things.
