I think I'm right in suggesting by setting limit orders for all your shares it essentially reoves them from availability for MMs to loan out or sell off book.

HL website says that reason for SP slump is traders say Black widow almost as popular on Disney + as cinema, and also UK goverment recommended mask wearing after 19th.

Mooky doesn't give a s--t about shareholders, its all about the big boys and this is debt led!

I've emailed investor relations twice asking when we are likely to see an RNS, no response whereas other companies at least are courteous enough to reply.
I'm sure Mooky is watching from the sidelines, just v concerned where this will be by the time he updates. And for every 5 % it drops, it needs a bigger rise to even cover that 5% because the sp is that much lower.
Today does seem exceptional market behaviour, whereas yesterday and last Thursday was accross the board in equal drops for similar sectors.
Fingers crossed mate, just took another 20k shares to try a further average down, but I'm heavily exposed to this one which is very unsettling.

Markets are reacting like they know something, yesterday and today is like watching a shorted share drop on the screen of a movie like the big short.
Could CINE be in real trouble, YES it's definitely more than possible.

Clearly makes no difference to this share price, shorters in control, board have nothing positive to report, this will drift lower and lower until decent financial news is announced, which markets believe are sustainable.
Ramp it all you like BC and Co, you need to be realistic about where this company is really is right now.

Please can someone clarify what the terms are around this, am I right in thinking that the SP will drop accordingly on 26th August by 15p, and in addition you will have a reduced holding to 9/10 ?

The only thing that will help the SP is actual figures and positive RNS.

This will be 50 by the time of the August update if the trend continues.
And possibly 30s after that update.

I've been doing this since May unfortunately, accumulated 80k in one account and 60k in my ISA which I'm now 8 and 6 k down respectively, it keeps falling and not recovering like last Thursday, everything else recovered Friday but not this one.
I'm now saying to myself, I'm repeating the same and expecting it to be different this Time.
I'm only sharing my experience since May.

I feel your pain too.
It's either reflation, inflation or covid and CINE gets hammered.
My worry is after last weeks sell off on Thursday everything recovered except this one, and the way it's going it could easily be in the 50s by the time Mooky updates in August, and then it's 50/50 as to what he says and how the market reacts.
I'm also 6k down in my ISA which I def won't sell but seriously considering selling the 80k I have in another account and buying back in a few weeks.
Just don't see an end to the downward trend.
And the media are pathetic and as you say deramp any prospect of recovery.
Unfortunately I'm in the same boat with 2 my others, MCRF and CPI.
How you can go so much in the red on penny stocks in such a short period.

Whilst it's so heavily shorted, too easy for them to make money, question is why and when would that change.
We are 15 % down from 1 week ago, lower lows and lower highs.
It's now a case for me of take an 8k loss before it becomes 18k or sit tight and pray each day, not a great place to be!!

This share has dropped between 10 and 15 % since this time last week.
My limited understanding of shorter is they mainly short either when they know something or have been informed.
Look at all your other holdings and despite last weeks sell off on Wednesday and Thursday, I bet most of them have recovered or are less than 5% down from this time last week.
By the time Mooky updates the market, this likely to be in the 60s the way things are going.

Yeah exactly, and even rose on x dividend day!!

Again buys vastly outnumber sells almost 4:1, yesterday 5:1, cannot understand why the fact demand clearly outweighing supply does nothing for SP.
I'm holding so makes no difference but I keep hearing that generally SPs are figure by basic supply/demand economics!!!

Yeah may have missed the boat, was holding 100k shares last week, sold 30k Monday hoping the upward momentum woukd continue to lower my average, but same thing happened as last week June and we are where we are.
I'm also holding 60k in my Isa which won't be sold for obvious reasons.

Is anyone considering that this downward trend CINE has been on since March might not change until a positive RNS / August, and therefore despite opening up etc, the SP will continue its path until then?
If so I was wondering if anyone was thinking about selling at a loss on one of weeks temporary highs, and buying back in 30 days?
Risk both ways the way I'm seeing it.
