I'm not selling up, and I can stomach 1-2% drops when justified, its accross the board on days like this.

I keep hearing its basic supply / demand mechanics that steer prices one way or another, yet look at the buys v sells just for today, just doesn't add up.

None of the large buys this week have moved the sp, the positive rns hasn't, buys outnumbering sells on various days hasn't, the only consolation right now is there are large buys.
It's depressing to see your capital slowly disappear.

That didn't take them long to start dragging this down from opening another one yesterday.

And the sell off in Tokyo overnight which is now in a state of emergency.

Spot on mate, not everyone was fortunate enough to get in at a lower level, its horrible to see 25% of your capital decimated in no time, and then feels like your waiting for months again just to break even on your capital investment.
And I sometimes also feel almost hypnotised by the ramping of the SP, and clearly at the moment the market does not agree, unless there is something brewing underneath to give others a great entry point at PIS expense.

You're probably right about him stating that over the top figure, and surely we would have already seen an larger uptick of hospital admissions and deaths by now, after all the cases have been rising for weeks.
However, deaths were in the 30s yesterday.
I just think that Mookys continued silence about where CINE are in relation to the scenarios he laid out previously, and shorter foaming at the mouth seeing easy pound signs, this stock is fair game.

Exactly, and as for the NHS getting overwhelmed, that's the service you're in, do your job, and use all those wonderful Nightingale hospitals that cost millions, to put all the covid people in. Oh I forgot, can't get the staff and didn't bother to look for any the last 18 months. Joke.
And as for how this delta started, read a piece in the Times about UK residents escaping lockdown here to go to second homes in India, and then all came back when the delta variant took over, and Boris allowed it without the need for isolation and quarantine until it was too late.

It's been bloody 18 months and what the scientists know for certain is that covid will be with us for a long time.
So do we try and save an extra 10 even 20 thousand deaths, and probably have treble that as comorbities to lockdown, or do we just get on with it.
If people in the UK can't take a bit of personal common sense responsibility towards it and themselves, tough luck , suck it up.

The problem is Javid opened his mouth about 100k cases whereas C Witty only mentioned 50k on the covid briefing on Monday.
And just look at all the recovery stocks today yesterday, NEX down 3% today, restaurant group 3% +, the markets are not reacting as would be expected reading that email.
And they won't tell us approximately how many of the projected 100k cases will lead to deaths and hospital admissions.
Who bloody cares anymore, how many people have not had a cancer diagnosis or received the surgery and treatment they need.
All you have to do is look at the crowds in the football, that is what people want now.

I know all this, what I'm saying is the media is scaremongering so much since the announcement that the markets are reacting accordingly.
Plus the sell off yesterday was a result of US worries over inflation, vaccine targets etc and we always suffer as a consequence.
And until Mooky announces something positive, this share is easy game.
I was t fortunate to get in below the 80s so will be happy just to break even right now. It sucks.

Being taken back down to 76 like 2 weeks ago after reaching high 80s.
Plus with all the news talking about 100k cases and possible reversals after the summer, this is far from over.
