Well, half way through 1st quarter and still no concrete confirmed contracts.
All I can say is, God help us if none have materialised by the FY results.
Whilst I'd love a takeover to put me out my misery, I can't see anyone wanting to buy a company that is not building its order book and is seeping money. Very disheartening for us right now.

These brokers are allowed to run a mockery of markets. They should nit be allowed to rate sticks whenever they feel like it to suit their own agenda.

Simply wall street estimate earnings to fall by 17% over the next 3 years. I can't understand how they get to that?

And I'm not quite understanding why according to stockepedia the book value is over 609 ps, even before the debt has been reduced to 350m.
Can anyone estimate what the net profit will be for FY?

Nothing with these markets makes any sense at all. One thing is for absolute certain, Nex has consistently underperformed for shareholders for 2 years , and second guessing what happens next is a lottery.
To think we were 3 quid in midst of lockdown.
The worrying thing here is that any negative comment or weak sounding statement in the FY update could take this down further.
When you consider the enormous increase in debt that travel and airlines took on during the pandemic, and compare their sp performances over the last 3 months compared to this, says it all.
It's feeling like the market has moved the goalposts fir NEX without any guidance from the company.

So the company's worthless now according to the market, less cash in hand.

These markets are making a mockery of genuine investing.

This is now vulnerable to train strike news as was the reason they gave in the update as impacting performance. Imo this will struggle until that is resolved.

I'm dreading the FY update now as this weakness was caused by their cautious forward looking guidance in the last TU.
We need some news , like takeover, to put us out our misery.

This really is the consistently most dog of all dog shares.
We've all been here since March 21 going through monthly pain and disappointment, it's laughable.
I'm only holding this and will continue to , because I just know if I ever sold it would start rising. 6 more months I'm hoping , after August's HY update.

It just seems like a hell of pullback really, but what you say makes sense. My average is 23 so this is more of an irritant than anything else.
I was thinking of averaging up if anything!
It does make sense that MMs would try and panic people into selling at a smallish loss, if they want your shares, and as you say not a huge amount at all.

Can anyone shed any light on what their FCF situation is forecast to be at year end?
Having looked at the HY report they showed negative FCF of 215 million compared to positive 260 million the year before.

I was trying to ascertain the likelihood of any capital allocation possibilities at FY.

This is beginning to feel like there's an issue with the funding. One way traffic at the moment!
